Imperial 4-inch x 12-inch Black Iron Montezuma, Floor Register, Rectangular, Household Vent Cover

Got tired of looking at our old rusting steel vent registers and decided to go with this plastic - as we thought it would be easier to clean. When we received them - I was surprised at the quality. Air flows good - and just as important - we were able to shut airflow effectively where it was not needed. They work well and look great. Only drawback was that we had to order a pack of 5 - and an extra 1. They were ultimately the same price, but we were limited to just 6 because of "low stock". We actually needed 5 more. We had to buy a different model for a different area of the house.

I purchased two of the white registers, especially because they are wider for the heat to come out in my home. The the old ones that I have in my house the slits are so tiny. I'm surprised any heat comes out. The white ones fit perfect and we're so easy to put up and screw in. Very glad I purchased them.

Ordered this initially from Amazon but after waiting for 3 weeks I was told that they didn't have it in stock. A total waste of my time. Found this on Walmart.com and this was delivered on the same day that I ordered it. What a big difference in service. So from now on I will be ordering my stuff from Walmart.com whenever they are available at Walmart.com. Product is well made and since it is made of plastic, will never rust. I replaced the vents in my bathrooms that was already starting to rust with these. Would highly recommend this product on wet and high moisture locations.

It was what i ordered without substitution. It also arrived quickly. The delivery person actually left the package on the porch and not in my yard (which has happened in the past). It was what i ordered in the time frame i ordered it. It was the same day (i believe) and none of the nonsense amazon pulls. 2 day shipping. But they take 3 days to ship. Woohoo keep it up!

It fit well, this was a replacement for a plastic one that cracked. The plastic one is for sale here, they work well but are not built to be stepped on in a busy area on a floor. This vent is very sturdy, only 4 stars because the vents can be moved or closed but it's difficult to move. I also noticed the white isn't a neutral white. My floor is a white with gray marble. This will eventually go in another room. I'll get the stainless steel next time.

The register looks very nice and fits well. My issue was opening the slots were HARD. I eventually used a butter knife to pry them a little open then I was able to open them the remainder of the way. I wouldn't use if you have children that like to stand on the register (I would imagine it would break the plastic), but for adults who never stand on it, it looks good and works well. Easy to clean!

Just Ok for the price point and definitely a lower build quality. The vent switcher device is flimsy and thin plastic and does not feel like it will hold up well over time at all. Probably OK for a low-use area of the home if you don't have to switch the vent open and closed too much, if ever. I have it in my basement duct and am going to just leave it closed. If this was for a main room of my home I would have probably returned it.

They fit well, be aware that they sit higher above the floor then the typical metal one so if you have a Romba it will make a lot of noise when it goes over these. Also be aware that the fins do not angle to the sides at all so the air goes straight up and does not dispuruse as much as on the traditional metal ones,

I don't know if I would recommend these or not. They look nice and fit perfectly. The only thing wrong with them is they were very difficult to adjust using the lever close. Had to unscrew them and adjust with a screwdriver, hopefully they will stay open because the outside dial is useless.

I have always ordered these from this site. The only problem is that the top part does not cover as much as it used to. The seller doesn't give the dimensions of the top flat part. If you have stains or the flooring doesn't come right to the hole, you will see it.
