Imploding Kittens Expansion For Exploding Kittens Party Game

Great game if you have a crazy personality. We have enjoyed this game so much with our teen and now adult sons. Just a goofy game with a lot of laughs!

We've played this so much I've purchased 3x. My kids wear out the cards playing together and with neighbors, and after dinner as a family. Once you understand the strategy of the best times to use each card, it's so fun and hilarious.

We love the new strategy cards that come with each expansion! Our question is, is there any mode of play that allows for 7 or more players to play? As I understand it: The original edition has 4 exploding kittens so 5 people can play. The first expansion has 1 imploding and the 4 original exploding kittens so a total of 6 people could play. Then… and here is the limitation, the second expansion adds 1 more exploding kitten so a total of 6 exploding (including the imploding) kittens are at play. In theory, this would mean that 7 people could play. But… 7 people can’t play. Because the total number of defuse cards are still 6 from the original edition. Maybe, the second expansion should have included one more defuse card to add to the game.

Great game! We had so much fun!

My 14 year old son loved this! Me, not so much. I thought it was boring and repetitive. But...if he enjoys playing it with me and it keeps him off the screens, that's a win in my book! It might be more fun with more than 2 people. Maybe that was my problem?

I have basic Exploading kittens and 2 additions ( Streaking kittens, Imploading kittens). The design for instructions perfectly matching the box for the cards, they even suggest to swipe upside down plastic cards holder inside box to feal all the cards and instructions together. But this editions have bigger instructions that will not feet in the the box. And in a new box from this extention cards not fitting well.

FAKE, COUNTERFEIT version of the game. Box and cards were flimsy and lacked key elements of the actual game. Instructions said “NSFW version” which it was not. Went online to see if this game is copied and apparently it is. Why is Walmart doing business with this seller?

I'm only giving this 1 star because 0 isn't an option. I ordered via Walmart.com because I thought that the website had this on sale - turns out the online price was lower because it was a 3rd party seller who is selling counterfeit copies of the game. The box is clearly not a professional / retail design, there is no holofoil sticker, there isn't even a copyright date or the Exploding Kittens corporate information. I've included photos of the unopened box. I'll be reporting this to Walmart and to Exploding Kittens.
