I have been plant based for a few months and these taste and smell just like chicken nuggets. I've even had my 6/o nephew ( a chicken nugget connoisseur) taste them and he agrees. I put them in the air fryer for a nice crisp, and then boom, chicken nuggets. No weird after tastes or sneaky soy flavor. They are however a lil pricey for the amount you get
These nuggets are a quick and easy meal. Eleven minutes in the toaster oven, and they come out hot and crispy. I can't comment on how they would taste from a microwave. They taste like chicken nuggets, and everyone in the family loves them. My sister-in-law had some when visiting and commented how good they were. She was surprised to learn that they were meatless.
I now get to enjoy something very tasty, while being true to my dog, cat, chicken, cow and other animal friends. As I tell them, I am serious about the commandment: "You shall not kill". Yes, that includes our thinking animals friends. (By the way, this has to be less loaded with fats , and thus more healthy, than all those fried foods.) Great to dip into BBQ sauce--DELICiOUS.
I'm not a chicken nugget person. Bit these plant based nuggets are surprisingly good. i tried the spicy ones first. if you like heat these would be the ones. Not an overpowering heat just enough to let you know it's there. Bought a bage of original to try and another bag of the spicy. Great snack!
Honestly surprised at how good these were. My kids have tried other plant based nuggets and knew right away tha I was fooling them lol. With these they didn't say a word and actually asked for more. The bag is small and pretty expensive which is the only downside. I have 3 kids and the whole bag was gone in a day
I love these nuggets! I don't eat meat anymore, but since I was raised on it, sometimes I still want the taste. This is an easy way to get some protein when you're short on time. They're great with bbq sauce or in a wrap with veggies and ranch. My meat-eater husband even likes them!
These are great! I've had these and the spicy ones, from another store. I wish my Walmart would get the spicy ones because they're definitely better, but these are still good and tasty. Pop them in the air fryer for 11 ish minutes, and they're ready to devour.
Made in an air fryer and was pleasantly surprised by bothe the flavor and the texture. I honestly think I could have given them to my family without clueing them in and they wouldn't have known they were vegan. A very easy and tasty way to get in a few meatless meals.
I buy these often. I eat real meat regularly, and these still hit for me. The flavor is solid, the texture is convincing, and they don't feel like a compromise just because they're plant-based. Even my picky roommate liked them, which is usually the hardest test. They taste great with basically any dipping sauce I've tried. The updated packaging also looks clean and modern and definitely stands out in the freezer section. If I had one request, it would be a bigger bag option. More quantity for a better value would make these an even easier repeat buy. One tip: I like to cook them a couple minutes longer than recommended. The extra crispiness and color make them feel closer to a real nugget and improve the overall bite. Overall: 8.8/10 feels right. Easy to recommend and always a solid choice.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good these nuggets were. I have tried other brands and was disappointed with them and their lack of taste and texture. These didn't disappoint. I would eat them on a regular basis if it wasn't for the price..they are a little bit pricey for the amount of nuggets that you receive.
