I needed a long spoon, i got this one at a very good price. nice design, looks pretty decent quality. I recommend it.
The rubber on the handle is a plus! It's very sturdy compared to similar spoons. Definitely recommend!
I used this product to make my infamous spaghetti sauce. Let me tell you - this spoon did not compare to my old one. It stirred nicely and make my sauce perfect. I was not aware of this product line but I will purchase more in the future. The spoon was east to handle and durable when cooking.
I received this Imusa 18" Jumbo Wood Solid spoon with Colored silicone grip from BzzAgent in exchange for an honest review. This is a very big spoon! It is great for stirring big pots of soups or stews. It holds a good amount of food so it can also be a serving spoon. This spoon is made of very good quality wood and so far I have not seen any staining of the wood that I have seen with other wooden spoons. This is a great spoon for non stick surfaces, it does not scratch the pots or pans. Overall a very well made spoon that works well for big pots and pans. Would definitely recommend it to my friends and family!
This does work good for a big skillet or pot, I did make some great stir fry with it! It is pretty big, which I wasn't expecting but still worked as good as smaller spoons that I have. It's nice that it has a silicone grip, makes it easier to stir with!
This spoon is very large compared to the spoons I usually use. Quality seems good.
I don't know why I was surprised at the length of the spoon. It's long enough to reach deep into my stews without endangering my fingers, which is good. The spoon is very wide, but the handle is very narrow, which is kind of awkward. I am afraid that, in time, this may lead to instability and breakage. It doesnt feel super sturdy. Time will tell.
When I first received this spoon I was convinced that it might be too large for my needs, but was proven wrong when I used it to cook a large pot of spaghetti sauce. The length showed me far more distance from the hot stove, and it worked perfectly for mixing the ingredients and stirring. Cleans up very easily, stores nicely, and I like the look and feel of the silicone grip when handling.
I received this spoon in exchange for my honest review. Overall it's a little larger than I expected, but it is a nice quality wooden spoon and I appreciate the silicon grip. For me personally, I would probably get more use out of this spoon if the handle were a couple of inches shorter. I really like the large bowl of the spoon. I found it really great to use when making a large pot of chili last weekend.
The spoon is shaped awkwardly. It looks more decorative than it is useful. The silicone grip is there for eye candy only, since wood isn't a conductor of heat. If the silicone grip was shaped like a small spatula, then they may be on to something, but this was somewhat underwhelming.
