Best pot I ever purchased it is good for so many things I just love love love it. I will eventually have a full pot set because I will continue to buy this brand until I have every size that they make.
It is a great pot, large capacity, easy to clean and cooks well. I wish the handle had a cover because mittens are always needed when handling the pot.
They are nice pots handles well food comes out really well. I recommended them to my family all have purchased them. Thank you so much.
I was very much on the fence about this pot. I needed something big and nonstick but not a nonstick that is bad for you, I figured I would try this pot out. Everything about it when starting out was good, I went to stir the sauce I was making the pan scooted across the stove....that is not good, especually when it states "non Skid"....when stirring you have to hang on to the little handles and you must use a pot holder or something to protect your hand from burning. other than that the pot is a 10/10....this is after one use, I am sure once I use it more I will have a better opinion
this is a great little pan.. i love it except for a couple of things.. 1- it slides all over the flat top stove. When you are trying to cook with it and stir it you have.to hold on to it or it will slide all over. which brings me to the 2nd issue.. 2- the pan and handles get very very hot. So while you have to hold onto it to keep it from sliding around, you need to make aure you have pot holders or silicone covers. i have tried to find silicone handle covers for it but have not found any that fit yet
I liked the Imusa Fuzion 3.5 qt Caldero because it is not-stick and versatile, but it is too light weight. The tag that came with it clearly states Anti-Slip Bottom, but simply stirring the contents makes the pot move on the burner. Also, the handles are too small to use with oven mitts on which is a must since they heat up very quickly as the rest of the pot. Meals came out great and the pot is a good size with walls high enough to contain splashes. The 3.5 qt pot is large enough for cooking for a family of 4. In the future I might try the 4.3 qt.
I loved how light weight the Caldero is, and I really enjoyed being able to cook something on the stove top and then finish it off in the oven. This is a very versatile pot! Hoever, the glass top it came with did not properly fit the caldero, so that was a bit disaapointing.
This has room for improvement but I do like somethings about it. I really like that it's lightweight and easy to wash. I liked the way that it cooked my meal, but I don't like that it doesn't have silicone protectors on the handles or anything like that because it just gets really really hot and you can't handle it properly or move it without potholders. The pot itself is also really lightweight so you touch it and it kind of flies across the stovetop. Not as dramatic as that sounds, but it has no weight to it even with food in it. so it's like a double edge sword regarding it being lightweight. I think with some improvements I would buy it again, or look at some other things in this line, because I like the way that washes and the way that it cooks.
I've been looking for a wok type lidded pot just like the IMUSA 3.5Qt Fuzion Caldero, and as a wok it works well. It's nonstick and I've cooked rice and vegetables in the pot without oil and it truly didn't stick. However, the pot does use PTFE chemicals, which are very hazardous to your health and I do not feel comfortable serving my family food that was cooked in a vessel made with chemical toxins. Compared to pans and pots that are PTFE-free, you don't need extra oil for the IMUSA pot and food burns less easily, nor does it stick. However, I would not use this or buy it because of the chemicals they use, seeing as how pots can be made nonstick and PTFE-free.
The only thing good about this is that is non stick. Besides that is so LIGHT anytime you try stirring the pot it moves you have to hold on handles. Hate when Im done cooking and I have to serve from the pot i literally have to place the plate against the HOT POT to serve the food which is so uncomfortable. DO NOT GET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is horrible plus the lid does not tightly close. I was so excited about this too since I love Imusa this is a NO NO NO NO
