Best pot I ever purchased it is good for so many things I just love love love it. I will eventually have a full pot set because I will continue to buy this brand until I have every size that they make.
It is a great pot, large capacity, easy to clean and cooks well. I wish the handle had a cover because mittens are always needed when handling the pot.
They are nice pots handles well food comes out really well. I recommended them to my family all have purchased them. Thank you so much.
I was very much on the fence about this pot. I needed something big and nonstick but not a nonstick that is bad for you, I figured I would try this pot out. Everything about it when starting out was good, I went to stir the sauce I was making the pan scooted across the stove....that is not good, especually when it states "non Skid"....when stirring you have to hang on to the little handles and you must use a pot holder or something to protect your hand from burning. other than that the pot is a 10/10....this is after one use, I am sure once I use it more I will have a better opinion
I love the size of this caldero. It's so handy and easy to use. I also love that its cast aluminum, it is so much lighter than cast iron which makes it much easier to use. As far as cooking goes, I think it did a really nice job of heating up and cooking evenly, I didn't have any issues. I really enjoyed having the glass lid, I like being able to see what I'm cooking. The caldero looks really nice, its a good-looking pan and goes with just about everything. I am really happy with this and I'm glad that I have it. I would recommend it to others!
this is a great little pan.. i love it except for a couple of things.. 1- it slides all over the flat top stove. When you are trying to cook with it and stir it you have.to hold on to it or it will slide all over. which brings me to the 2nd issue.. 2- the pan and handles get very very hot. So while you have to hold onto it to keep it from sliding around, you need to make aure you have pot holders or silicone covers. i have tried to find silicone handle covers for it but have not found any that fit yet
I received the IMUSA 3.5 qt Fuzion Caldero w/speckle for free in exchange for my honest review. After a few weeks of trying this pot I have listed below some of the pros and cons. I will start with what I love about it: It is VERY lightweight, I usually cook with heavy cast iron so this felt like a feather compared to them. I can literally lift it up with one hand with little to no effort. Second is that it is super easy to wash. I washed it using both the dishwasher and by hand. Of course I love my dishwasher but if you don't have one it is very easy to clean as it washes out very easily. Third, I love the lid. It fits snugly and has a steam escape hole so you don't get alot of moisture in your food. Lastly, this is a perfect size pot for a small family of 2 or 3. It works great to cook mac and cheese in, sauces, mashed potatoes, and soups. I would definitely recommend getting the larger pot if you have a big family as this pot is fairly small. Now to the cons: The handles get VERY hot, and they are quite small. So if you got big hands it is quite difficult to handle the pot, lift it up, and drain water out of the pot without burning yourself. So I would invest in some small potholders. Secondly, I know this is one of my pros as listed above but it is so lightweight it slides all over the stovetop. If you are cooking something that you need to stir you need to hold onto the handle of the pot so it don't slide all over the stove. Third, it takes awhile to brown hamburger in it. I know it is technically a pot and not a pan, but when cooking my hamburger for the spaghetti sauce I was making it seemed to take awhile longer to brown and cook the meat. All in all I think it is a decent pot. I am unsure how much it costs but I would more than likely buy it if it was under 20 dollars. I would recommend this pot for a single personal or a small family. This would also be great for a elderly person or someone who has hand/arthritis problems since it is so lightweight and easy to wash.
I loved how light weight the Caldero is, and I really enjoyed being able to cook something on the stove top and then finish it off in the oven. This is a very versatile pot! Hoever, the glass top it came with did not properly fit the caldero, so that was a bit disaapointing.
I've been looking for a wok type lidded pot just like the IMUSA 3.5Qt Fuzion Caldero, and as a wok it works well. It's nonstick and I've cooked rice and vegetables in the pot without oil and it truly didn't stick. However, the pot does use PTFE chemicals, which are very hazardous to your health and I do not feel comfortable serving my family food that was cooked in a vessel made with chemical toxins. Compared to pans and pots that are PTFE-free, you don't need extra oil for the IMUSA pot and food burns less easily, nor does it stick. However, I would not use this or buy it because of the chemicals they use, seeing as how pots can be made nonstick and PTFE-free.
product came today February 5th box was not damaged but product was 7 qt. cast aluminum Dutch oven had a small dent on it so glass lid would not fit properly it says sold and shipped from Walmart so you would think they would do better job making sure product is not damaged glass lid will not fit properly shame on who ever is responsible for packaging Walmart needs to do better
