IMUSA 6cup Cast Aluminum Stovetop Coffeemaker

I am genuinely impressed with this little stovetop espresso maker! For the price, the quality exceeded my expectations. The aluminum feels sturdy but lightweight, and it's very easy to use, even if you've never made coffee with a stovetop maker before. It brews rich, flavorful coffee in just a few minutes, and the aroma fills the whole kitchen. I was surprised by how smooth and strong the coffee tastes compared to my regular coffee maker. The handle stays comfortable to hold, and pouring is easy without making a mess. Cleaning is also simple you just rinse the parts with warm water and let them dry. This little coffee pot makes great espresso and it's very inexpensive,. I moved back to NY and all my things have not arrived yet. So I ran to Walmart and bought this

My Nespresso maker broke and I didn't want to spend that much again when I only drink coffee on occasion. This little maker makes a perfect single amount which is perfect for my iced latte.

Brings me right back to my childhood my Grandmother used to use a larger one of these to make my Grandfather an espresso after dinner every night. It might be little but it definitely makes a great espresso who needs an expensive espresso machine when you can get this little guy and it does the job extremely well and if you want to make a cappuccino just buy a frother and you will have the best cappuccino at home every single night

This Imusa cafetera can be found all over the place. My only issue is using it on an electric stove. You need to be careful that the handle is not placed on a hot burner as it could possibly burn you. But, man, it makes a great cup of coffee. It is easy to wash and takes like no space to store. I saw Viggo Mortensen making coffee in one of these in a movie. Frankly, I need to find me a bigger one! I love my little cafetera. Cafetera means coffeemaker in Spanish. I will always have one of these in my life!

The silicone gasket was a little bit small, but enough to leak steam and hot water. I don't think is problem of the IMUSA brand. I have had a smaller one (3 servings) for years and haven't had any problem. I wanted to exchange it, but the only option was a refund w/o returning the pot. I didn't want to donate it because of the leak, but did not wanted to throw it away either. I ordered new gaskets and they are slightly larger and do seal the pot. Neither steam nor hot water leak now.

Overall, it's a good product and works as expected. The only thing I would change is the size. I wish I had chosen a larger model because this one isn't really enough to make three full cups of coffee. If you drink more than one small serving, I'd recommend sizing up.

it is so small it doesn't fit on my gas burner ..there is a sort of hole in the iron covers where you sit pots and it falls through. also no crema because it is not air tight. water leaks from the area where the top screws on and it requires pressure to make crema but ... I'm not sorry I purchased it. it was a five dollar quick espresso. the forty dollar one I bought a target is awful

Makes decent coffee, but the handle has broken off despite my best efforts to care for it. I have only hand washed it, and I was very lucky that it broke when it wasn't full of boiling coffee.

So disappointed that this did not last even 6 months. The funnel where the coffee grounds go broke. It's not made like the funnel in my decade old smaller version as you can see in the pictures.
