Great for cooking a big pot of soup.

Anmaca1371 December 7, 2025

I love to make soups this fall/winter seasons, but my pot is never really big enough, because I like to cook a lot and freeze it. The enamel steamer pot was big enough. It holds enough for my family and to freeze for another time. The pot cooks the soup beautifully. Even better, when I am done with the pot, it is easy to clean. I just put it in the dishwasher and it is ready to go. I can make all kinds of things that are enough to freeze and it makes me happy. This is such a great pot to have in your kitchen.

Perfect for Tamales

Cyntchia November 29, 2025

Got this for free to try out and I love it. My family makes tamales every year for the holidays. This pot made it so much easier to steam them. I have been using another pot for years and this is definitely an upgrade. My mom now wants one too, I'll be buying her one to use for Christmas.

Love it, great size pot for all my cooking

Vcbbv00 December 6, 2025

I used this pot for my bone broth soup. I make these at least twice a week and a good size pot is a must. This is the perfect size for a family of four and having the soup last us for 3-4 days. The enamel is perfect I did not want the nonstick PFAS type pot anymore. Love the color blue on this pot. The lid is a must and the steamer rack that it comes with is an added bonus, where I can use this to steam my dumplings when I'm not using it for soup.

Solid steamer but with some caveats

Conroe's mom December 8, 2025

I liked the size and durability of this steamer. It looks great in my kitchen and works well. I used it to steam a bunch of carrots and also made some soup for my family. It is easy to clean and store. The caveats with the steamer is the lid handle has a groove on the bottom that is not smooth. It could possibly cut my hand but I don't because I use a pot holder to pick up the lid. The other issue is the lid does not lay flat on the steamer. It is at an angle. It is either a defect during manufacturing or damage during shipping. Either way, I was able to use the steamer.

Works Well!

Kari December 16, 2025

This steamer pot works really well. I love the color of it and the size. The rack inside is perfect for steaming larger things like carrots, with ease! The only con about this pot is that it's made of a very thin material. It says that it's enamel on steel, but it honestly just feels like it's made of a thin layer of aluminum. It is very lightweight, but feels like it's inexpensive. If you don't mind that, then this is definitely a good pot.

Nice steamer pot

Holly December 17, 2025

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review from BzzAgent Program. The steamer pot is well made and very light weight. It includes a metal insert. The pot itself is a nice white and blue speckled enamel. It is big enough to be able to cook for a larger party. Due to the large capacity I didn't have a chance to use it yet but based on the appearance it seems well made and should hold up very nicely.

It's almost Christmas! Get your tamales on!

Tamal Lover November 30, 2025

No really! It's tamal 🫔 time! I recieved this steamer/stock pot from Imusa for free in exchange for an honest review. So let me tell you ALL about it. First off, it comes with a steam rack for tamales. It is a nice blue color. My mother-in-laws pot for tamales is pretty ugly; just that standard aluminum finish. So, this is a nice blue color. Looks fancier. It is a very nice size. We can make, for my family of four, enough tamales for two meals in this pot. But keep on mind, we eat a lot of tamales at once. However, this would not make enough tamales for a party. If I wanted to have the whole family over for tamales I would need 2 1/2-3 of these pots to feed them. It only takes about 10 minutes of high heat to get the water boiling, so a good steam was already being produced after about 5. So it is quick to get those tamales cooking! Also, it is also a great stock/soup pot. If you are like me, and like to make big batches of broth and freeze them, this pot is amazing for that. It's such a large size for soup, that you could throw a party and only need this one pot to feed the 30 people. One downside, and I imagine this is just because I am used to them on standard pots and pans, is it doesn't have a little steam outlet on the top. So if you want to let some of thay heat/steam out, you'll have to push the lid to the side and vent it out manually. Since the pot is 16qtd, you could also place a large piece of meat in here as well. Such as a 12 pound pork butt. Slow cook it with BBQ sauce and make pulled pork sandwiches for a crowd. Thanks to it's large size, you don't even have to cut the roast into smaller pieces! Something I do not recommend is frying in it. Just because it heats very quickly, but will not retain the heat very well. So you would have to adjust the heat a lot to not burn the oil. I am very happy with the pot. I give it 4 stars, one star off because it isn't fancy/extra. But it is a great sized pot for large meals and soups. Perfect for Tamales!

Solid!

Leesh December 2, 2025

I've been using this 16-qt IMUSA steamer for a few weeks now and it has been holding up well. The size is perfect for big batches, great for meal prepping meals for the week! I have been mostly using it s a regular stock pot because it's so easy to take the steamer insert out. Something I was worried about - the handles don't get crazy hot, although the longer you are cooking with it, you may want to throw some gloves on. I will say that it heats up quickly and cooks evenly, kind of like a castiron pan but without all the heaviness. I wish it were dishwasher safe; it's handwash only. But that's okay because it probably would take up most of the space in my dishwasher anyway. FYI - I received this product for free in exchange for my review.

I would not likely buy this pot from Imusa again because…

BzzAgent1976 December 1, 2025

…while it is a lovely shade of blue with traditional speckles of black and white, it is of poor quality. Hear me out! At this price point, I can't really expect too much, but I was still pretty underwhelmed. It was very, very thin. Very flimsy and tinny. Id rather pay a few more dollars to have a sturdy pot that won't dent or scorch. The steaming rack is a great feature and that's why I gave it two stars. I got this for free from BzzAgent but I likely wouldn't recommend it to friends and family.

Left much to be desired.

Cooking for 6 December 1, 2025

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I cook essentially every single day, we are a family of 6. I have used lots of different types of pots and pans. First impression was dismal. The sticker would not peel off the pot easily and it was annoying to try and remove. There was a hole under the handle which left sharp edges, I had to be careful not to cut my finger when taking the lid on and off. (Could've been a defect). That hole also makes me nervous about water getting stuck inside after washing and rusting from the inside out. I wish the pot was thicker, the heat doesn't radiate out so you have very uneven heat while cooking. It's very hot above the heat source and you have to watch carefully for burns. Overall, I'm not impressed.
