I've been buying both these and the tuna fillets for years for my cat, and I always get the extra tender. I give them to him as a treat -- one a day or so -- and they generally last a good bit of the day because he doesn't eat a full one in one sitting. I recommend starting with a third. I tear it into pieces and put a few drops of the juices on it. Generally, I usually have to put a bit back into the pouch so that it doesn't dry out, which I recommend. My cat adopted me when he. was 7 y.o., and he'll turn 19 in June of 2025. He's never grown tired of either the chicken or the tuna in 12 years, and he can be a bit finicky. I lke that these have Vit. E and green tea, each of which is a plus. To me, I think they're reasonably priced, too. Whether you have a young adult cat or a senior, I don't thiink you can go wrong by trying to see if yours loves these (and/or the tuna fillets) as much as mine does.
My cat loves them, so that's a rave review.
I haven't ever purchased a product like this because my gray kitty is so finicky; she turns her nose up and won't eat it. But this filet she loved. It says it is chicken with scallop flavor but I smelled it and don't detect anything fishy. It smells like a piece of canned chicken and both of my cats loved it, ate the whole thing. So I guess I will buy some more for them. Kitty approved
I'm excited to review the Inaba Ciao Grain-Free Extra Tender Cat Treat, Chicken Fillet because my cat was beyond excited about it. First of all I have a cat that is very picky. He won't eat just anything and sometimes he won't even eat things cats go crazy for like tuna. When I had this unopened package in my hands my cat was already sniffing around it. It was sealed very tight in thick plastic packaging. It looked like a vacuum pack, air tight seal. Through the packaging it looks like a fresh cooked chicken cutlet. Once I cut open the packaging my cat went insane meowing. He has meowed when excited for food or treats before but nothing like this. It was like a different cat and that's how I knew this treat was in winner in his book and in my book as well. I was going to give my cat maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the package as it is pretty big for a cat treat but I dropped it and he proceeded to savagely devour it while purring. If he was a dog he would be wagging his tail too. The Smell of the treat smells like chicken but nothing gross. As per my cat and also myself, this treat is highly recommended.
I got one of these as part of the spark program and wasn't sure if my picky bunch would eat it. First opening it, it looks like a piece of chicken. I cut it up and served it on a plate. The cats were pushing each other out of the way. They LOVED it. They licked the plate clean within a minute. I will have to buy these again!
The Inaba Ciao Grain-Free Extra Tender Cat Treat, Chicken Fillet in Crab Flavored Broth did not last long. My 2 babies scarfed the fillet down very quickly. This product is made with chicken in a scallop broth. So your cats are getting the best of both worlds. The juice Of the filet tastes like the sea and the philae itself taste like the farm. I will definitely be getting these again for my cats. They are absolutely love them and it went super quick. You do not need to cook or do anything. You simply open the package put it on a tray and watch her cat devour it. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
My cat ABSOLUTELY loved this chicken treat. It took her a total of maybe 2 minutes tops to devour the whole thing. She's usually picky when it comes to food and treats and this was a big hit. She licked the bowl of all the remnants of juice and looked up at me like she wanted more. Definitely going to start buying these for her.
This review is for the Grilled Chicken Fillet in Scallop Flavored Broth single packages that I received two of on different days because of some availability or shipping delays. Worth the wait, my cat really enjoyed this change of pace meal treat. She will likely ignore her regular food now.
I have 4 cats so I cut this into very small pieces (because it's already quite small) so they could all have a bite. They all loved it and ate it happily then had to check each other's bowls to see if any was left behind. I don't get why they need to add flavors to this treat. My cats love plain chicken and I give them some whenever I am cooking it. The ingredients: Chicken, Natural Crab Flavored Broth, Salt, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Tapioca, Collagen, Guar Gum, Vitamin E Supplement, Green Tea Extract.
Chicken fillet grilled. And scalloped flavored broth. Cat treat. Vitamin e is added to it for healthy benefits. No artificial preservatives. It's a whole chicken fillet. Is white meat looks like breast. It definitely smells like chicken and the first ingredient is chicken. The kitties loved it. Since we have several cats we split it up between them all of them liked it. You're supposed to be refrigerated after opening it there's anything left. We didn't have anything left.it was definitely enjoy it all the pets even the dog try to get a taste of it. It does have a green tea extract. I'm not sure why but it didn't seem to bother the animals any. it's a good product. It's key to remember to only give enough for a treat because your cat eat the whole thing if you let him.
