I have been making melt and pour soap as a hobby for a couple of years. I am running low on the liquid dye that came in my starter kit, and I have mica powders but find them to be tedious if I'm doing a lot of different colors at one time. I had high hopes for these dyes, but they just aren't as nice as anticipated. For reference, I'm working in 360g soap batches (4 smallish soap bars). I am using goats milk, which is a white base. I anticipated needing to use 5 or 6 drops of dye like I was used to using for it to noticibly be whichever color. So far I'm having to at least double that amount of dye to get any sort of tint. I imagine in a clear base it will be different, but I'm still disappointed. The bottles also aren't labled by color, so I had to dot each on a napkin first to figure out what color they were (some were obvious, but it's hard to know at a glance on the darker colors).
