Red, white and Blu-ray

I remember seeing this movie when it first came out in theaters on July 4th back in the mid-90's, and it still remains one of my all-time favorite "aliens try to take over Earth" movies. This is a total popcorn flick that is 500% better now that it has been remastered on BD. Crank up the uncompressed audio and watch NYC and LA get leveled along with your living room.

Nice picture, Awesome movie

The picture quality was really good, but my HDTV isn't very large. On my 24" in was very nice. The sound was good, even though there were some pops and dropped lines--maybe a couple, tops. Definitely worth the low price.
