I needed a good (accurate wise) and relatively cheap scale for weighing my pet bird (a small parrot). It's very important to us to have her weight as accurate as possible. I just got the scale and so far I love it! I repeatedly weighed different items and the scale showed the exact the same weight for each item (of course different weight for different items) just like it showed the very first time I had weighed them. P.S. A U.S. nickel is exactly 5 gr according to Google. Here are the pics of the scale proving it. 1 nickel = 5 gr. 2 nickels = 10 gr.

This is a great scale. It has all the qualities one would want: 1- Large enough for the food I want to weight, but small footprint nonetheless. 2- Light yet seems durable. 3- Small enough to fit in a corner or a drawer, 4- Scale holds a plate and screen is still visible with food on the scale. 5- Easy on/off button. A winner all around.

Until now I haven't used it for food. But it's a big help in reckoning postage. Among other mailings, I mail a KID's section of the NYTimes to my great-niece and -nephew once a month. I've been guessing at 4 stamps but today three were correct. You're saving me money! I've never baked by weight before but will start this coming week.The TARE feature will be a pleasure to use. My husband and I LOVE this scale. It allows you to put your empty container on it and reset the amount to zero then pour in your liquid or food to the amount you want to measure. It is sleek with beautiful blue lighting. It can fit anywhere. Would highly recommend to purchase this scale.

Literally the best scale I have purchased! The numbers are large and easy to read. Changing the scale from ounces - pounds - grams is as simple as a touch! The scale is slim and slides easily between canisters on the counter or lays perfectly flat in our utility cabinet. The product arrived quickly and we are extremely happy with the purchase. Well worth it!

I tried several other models before landing on this one. There are a number of others which are cheaper and more attractive.Since they weren't accurate, though, I gave up on them.I also like that these scales measure both very light items and fairly heavy ones. Again, it's much more reliable than others I tried. I wish there were a model combining accuracy, design and price. Prioritizing, though, most important is accuracy both for food measurement and for postal usage.

Scale was completely inaccurate out of the box. It would not zero out and fluctuate by .22 in either direction from zero. Going back for a refund.
