Does the job. The only thing you have to do is set the ducky in the water and if it is too hot, then the bottom will turn colors.

Daughter loves it
i was just looking for a simple rubber duck but the design caught my eye. my daughter loves it and its got a neat way of checking the water temp. i definitely recommend this rubber ducky

Toy came with holes in it which allows water in and causes the toy to mold. It's difficult to clearly tell if the water is an appropriate temperature making the toy just a toy… that molds… over all I would not buy again or recommend it to someone else and would just spend the extra money to get a proper bath thermometer.

Doesn't light up
Doesn't light up! Gave as a gift so it's too late to return but the first time using it and it doesn't do anything. It is such a bummer because it is super cute.
