[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a budget-friendly straightener that worked perfectly for my wavy curly hair! This straightener worked better than expected and got very hot! I feel like this will last me a while before it gives out, and it also was comfortable size-wise for my hands!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this straightener! It is compact but mighty! I love how slim and light weight it is. It warms up really fast and is easy to maneuver. My hair smoother out very nicely and lasted all day but it didn't feel like the heat damaged it. This would be a great product for some new to hair tools!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had my hair feel so smooth after straightening. I am obsessed. There are three temperature settings. I usually stick with the lowest temperature and my hair straightens so fast. I appreciate the lock that keeps the straightener closed for storage and cool down, so I don't burn myself. The colors are also adorable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this infrared straightener! I love that there are 3 different heat settings. You can change the temperature based on your hair type and hot hot you would like it. It's super easy to use and heats up fast. I feel like my hair was way more smooth and shiny than when I normally straighten it. I think selecting the temperature also prevents it from damaging your hair! I also love the locking mechanism. It prevents the iron from touching surfaces when it's hot and makes storing it really easy and compact. It's small so it doesn't take up a bunch of space in my cabinet and will be perfect for travel!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this hair straightener. Conair never misses with their hot tools. I love how affordable they are compared to other brands and how they can also make their products pretty while also being good quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't typically buy products that don't let me select the heat, and this product is limited to 3 heat settings. That said, when you go by the heat setting chart, it does adequately straighten the hait. I appreciate the width, which makes it easier to get to the root. It does heat up very fast, which is so nice. I'm hopeful that the product will maintain its current usability.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This straightener works very well to smooth my hair. I like the idea that the infrared technology causes less damage. I was also able to use it to add a bit of curl/bend to my hair. It is lightweight and easy to use. It makes a slight buzzing noise which can be heard when it is near your ears. I don't love the color scheme of yellowy beige/red.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Incentivized I was given this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I really liked this infrared hair straighter. It has a red light line that i assume to be the infrared technology. Somewhat unsettling was that a hissing noise that it made the whole time. I have naturally thick hair with some waves. I was able to get close to my hairline and straighten out my baby hairs. I think this worked well. My only complaint is the placement of the on-off button, and the temperature buttons are exactly where my hand comfortably would sit, but every time I would start a new section so I had to move my hand closer to the heat. It does work and rather quickly on medium heat for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For background: I have bleached and dyed hair. My hair type is 2a, so straight and the top and wavy at the bottom. Using the product was pretty easy everything easy to locate. I did not use any heat primer for hair. For straightening: it took 2-3 tries for it to flat the waves. It definitely didn't feel like regular straighteners. Usually I can smell a little bit of burning smell when I straighten my hair, but this felt like it had less heat overall. Hair does look a little shinier. I did not have a lot of hair fallout while using this. I rate this 7/10.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hot iron is sleek and a good size for smaller sections (or thin) hair. It warms up fairly quick and the circle around the power button lights up when it's ready to go. There's three heat settings—I have damaged, thin, hair so I tried this on 320 degrees, which is just about what I usually do on other hot irons. I found that this was very much just a “warm” setting, it didn't straighten my FINE hair with just one pass, I can't imagine this would work well on someone with thicker hair. I was disappointed that it took multiple passes through to get my hair completely straightened but I wouldn't completely count this model out, just wouldn't be considered my “old reliable” anytime soon.
