It slide through my hair with no problem and giving a slight waves to my natural hair. It turn out great result and the wand is very sturdy and easy to used. Easy to turn on and adjust the temperature and I like that the buttons are located on the side of the barrel so you're less likely to accidentally press them while using it. It heated up quickly and you can see the temperature on the screen to know when it's ready! The plates glide over my hair easily and straighten or curl really nicely! I think this is a great flat iron for the price and would definitely recommend it!
