Upgrade for me
I haven't had the chance to use my new Conair hot comb. However I bought this as a replacement for an old electric hot comb that I've had for over 10 years. I'm very sure that this upgrade will work wonderfully.

I had my hopes up that this product would be my final purchase to straighten my hair (super thick and curly) but it doesn't get hot enough to straighten it. So personally it doesn't work for my hair but that doesn't mean it won't for yours, you will have to buy it and try on your own hair

The only positive about this hot comb is that my hair doesnt tangle in it. That's it. This hot comb takes FOREVER to get hot, and at its max temperature it gets no hotter than very warm. Turbo mode does hardly anything for the temperature of the comb. I have very thick, wavy hair and it took me over an hour to get my hair from very wavy to a loose wave. Unacceptable. Would not recommend

Not good a product
This straightening is not good for curly hair. I wont recommend it to anyone. I purshassed this more than a month ago and I tried to used it but it doesn't work for curly hair. You need to have waive or straight hair in order to make it work. I am very disappointed because I paid a lot of money for it.
