Infinity Pool (Steelbook)

This movie is what i like to call "Saturday night gathering with the friends" viewing experience! Get several people together and have several beverages, then put this on. It's a fun/wild watch!

A struggling writer and his wealthy wife vacation at an island resort where they are part of a tragic accident. The laws here are very strict, however they quickly discover there are some major loopholes to avoid punishment, if you can afford them. They soon fall in with a rich crowd who is well aware of these loopholes and uses this island as a getaway to do whatever their heart desires with no repercussions. I went into this movie having never seen it and not having heard anything about it. Let me start out by saying normally when a movie advertises itself as Uncut or Unrated it usually doesn't mean much. This is the exception. I am no easily offended prude, however even I was shocked at some of the things I saw in a mainstream movie. The sex scenes are GRAPHIC, to the point where I have less graphic pure adult material than some scenes this movie contains. Definitely not something you want to bust out on family movie night. Now that you have been warned, this is a really good movie. The plot was interesting and kept you wanting to see how far they would go. It kept me entertained and engaged the entire 2 hours. This is classified as a horror movie, and there is definitely violence and blood, but it is more psychological horror than all-out gruesome. The 4K HDR picture looks wonderful, really bringing the beautiful island scenery to life. Colors were bright and vibrant and dark scenes looked great on an OLED. Audio is limited to DTS HD Master Audio 5.1 which I find offensive more theoretically than practically. Of course I want everything to have Dolby Atmos, but it doesn't limit the enjoyment of this film as 5.1 channels is more than enough. The majority of the film is dialog or things happening directly in front of you. The audio you do get sounds great and is crystal clear. As biased as I am toward Atmos, I am just as biased towards always getting steelbooks when possible. So if you are going to buy this movie, get it in 4K and get the steelbook. It is a nice gloss finish, mostly black and red (mostly due to blood), with art on both front and back that tie nicely into the movie. Mine did arrive damaged the first time, but the second one had no issues. I have no regrets about buying this movie. It kept me on the edge of my seat for 2 hours and is something I would watch again. A highly entertaining psychological horror movie. Just remember, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED: be extremely mindful of who is watching this with you.

Intriguing film with an interesting plot and the wonderful Mia Goth.

Crazy film. Great 4k steelbook. First copy arrived damaged but the replaced was quickly sent out.

Bizarre sci-fi/horror flick, movie shipped out and arrived on time, movie played with no issues, picture and sound quality satisfactory, you can also count on Walmart for a competitively fair price 👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐
