I am so thrilled with these lights not only do they look handsome good looking but they work beautifully I love the fact that there's a little bit of light and then when you get closer to it as you're walking down the path it lights up the whole area so it's a motion light totally.
These lights provide much more and better lighting tha most solar powered walkway lights. We especially like that there are two additional lights that are motion activated that provide even a brighter light when traversing the pathway.
These path lights have 3 different settings for how bright you want them They also have 3 different settings for motion sensors brightness. I know if something or someone is walked by around my patio.
They look great, love the ability to adjust height. The feature that detects movement is really nice for a walkway.
They work very well.
Disclaimer, I've only had them for a few days now, but my experience has been a bit up and down. The setup was simple, and the lights feel sturdy, and the spikes seem solid. In regards to their appearance, they aren't the best looking lights for sure, but I don't think you're buying them for looks. These lights had a few interesting features not commonly found at this price point, including the motion sensing, and adjustments, plus the brightness. For context, I'm writing this review during the fall, and the days are getting shorter/more cloudy. Upon first setting them up, they seemed to be fully charged out of the box. When powering them on, they will shortly turn on at your settings, then turn back off(if it's bright). When they're outside and activated, they will activate the motion sensing lights temporarily upon turning on, then return to idle state. When I first saw them working, they were very decently bright at the default lighting. However, I was hoping for a more warmer light color, the regular light is more blueish. By default, my motion sensing lights were off, I turned them on to the max of 500. When it's fully charged, and its set to 500, you're going to be lighting up EVERYTHING. It's extremely bright if you activate them like that. Blinding even. They were flashing beams straight into our windows and house despite not being on axis, it was a bit crazy and hilarious given they're just little pathway lights. The motion light is also very blue, and a bit harsh when looked at, I wish it was more dispersed/frosted. If you're putting these near a road, be careful not to blind people! The lights basically lasted all night, and then again fully the next day. I was very impressed. Around the third and 4th day, the lights started to fall back closer to our other smaller solar lights. They became a bit dim, some days lasting the night but being very dim. The motion sensing will also activate, but will also be dim, but it's fine, I lowered it to the lowest setting(150), and it's still more than enough light when activated. As for the motion detection, it will generally turn on as you approach them closely, not far away, perhaps a few feet. It will pick up cars from across the road however(if by the road), and turn on as their vehicle is centered on the lights. I've seen them also activate by a large truck far away shaking the road. They haven't been turning on much randomly, until today when it rained. They basically stayed on the whole time during a rain, draining them within a couple hours(when they were already weak to begin with). To be fair, our other solar lights didn't fair well either. Detection is stronger on the side facing the motion LEDs. The solar panel does ok I guess recharging them given the current conditions, but it would have been amazing if they kept up the same performance as when new(fully charged). I may try to figure out a way to diffuse the motion sensing LEDs, and make the lights a bit warmer if possible.
