Infrared Surface and Folding Probe Digital Thermometer

Quick and accurate temp reading for all meats. Very easy to use.

Had a problem with this item that was immediately corrected by the mfg. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but am real pleased with the response from the mfg.

We can test the temperature of the different settings of our blackstone and now understand what areas of the grill are warmer than others, which is super nice! And then just flip the probe and test the temperature of whatever we are cooking. Great little device to add to our collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Escali DH7 Infrared Surface and Folding Probe Thermometer is the best folding thermometer I have ever used. The display is nice and bright and has a big bold display which is easy to read. I love the fact that it automatically turns on when you unfold it and automatically turns off when you fold it. I have had other thermometers that don't do that and the battery would die so quickly. It's also great that it's both a probe and surface thermometer so I can check the surface of my meats before I serve them or cut into them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great compact meat thermometer. I'm going to love using it. It comes with batteries and on the back of the thermometer the actual poker part spins into a little slot so it's compact. There is also writing on the back telling you what temperatures to cook each meat to. I love that, it makes it so much easier that constantly having to try to remember or look it up every time. Definitely recommend this thermometer.

High quality, quick, and accurate read. It doesn't display the temp long and is short for using on the grill (hand is too close to grill/flame). A bit over priced for the value so gave it 4 stars.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my wife and have had issues with it turning on and clearly the infrared is worthless. It reads LLLLL and from time to time bounces a number that makes no sense; one number is -4.5 and another might be 55.7. Then it goes back to LLLL. Will compare probe to a second thermometer but have lost confidence in this probe. Does not function or work as it states.

Updated Review... Bought in December and quit working on the probe function by April. Trying to reach manufacturer but website does not work. Not worth the money for a 3 month long life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I was excited to get this and try it out. I got it to power on one time and now I can't get it to do anything. I've taken out the batteries and put back in and still no power comes on. Disappointed in this one.
