Ingersoll Rand 2145QIMAX 2145QiMAX 3/4" Composite Quiet Impact Wrench

This impact is perfect for the job that i do. It is compact but has the power to perform all the tasks i have put it thru. the size makes it very easy to get into the spaces i work in and has the punch to get the job done right the first time. I bought this for the size and power . I have used the bigger styles of impact and found that the weight and bulk of the tool limits the places it will work. The first time i saw this tool i knew i had to have it to do my job. I show it to all my co workers. It's awesome.

I am a heavy duty truck tech and I have one of the older IR 261 that has had years of abuse throwed at it and have been looking at the 2145 for awhile but didn't know if I really needed another 3/4 impact, I finally took a gamble simply because this one weighs 5 pounds less and is listed at 250 more ft/lbs of breakaway power, and alot of times I am using mine overhead. So The other day I got mine and oiled it up and plugged it in to the airline and it was so quite that it hurt my feelings, lol. Now let me point out I have the 2135Q and this is even quieter than it, anyway as quiet as it was I knew it wasn't going to have any power, it just made my stomach roll that I had put out that much money for it, so I just laid it in my tool cart and walked away. A few minutes later we had a truck roll in to get some tires, we generally use the long shank IRT285B-6 1 inch Ingersoll's on these but I decided to try this thing out and holy cow, it blew my mind it zipped the lugs off like I was doing a car instead of a semi. I ended up doing 12 tires with it that day and only had 2 lugs it would not break loose, and to be fair the 1 inch wouldn't break those 2 loose either without a lot of hammering. I am SUPER happy with this impact and look forward to many years of use from it. Thank you Ingersoll Rand

We use the 3/4 impact gun to do traction motors on locomotives on all three shifts and we have found that your product last longer and does a much better job than other brands

This air impact wrech is made very well and works great for everything i need to use it for. I use it at a tractor dealership and its holding up very well for me.

This is a great gun for those rusted old frozen bolts. Works great to loosen them up and perfect to tighten the new ones. I really love this gun!

good purchase, plenty of power and lightweight

Bought this shortly before Christmas and didn't have a chance to use it until recently. I have air stations in my shed but only have 3/8" hoses and 1/4" connectors. Tried using this to remove truck bed mounting bolts. At the time this impact would not break the bolts loose. Since then I have purchased a 1/2" hose and made an adapter to to use two air connections in my shed to feed the 1/2" hose with high flow connectors. The next time I used the gun, it worked great. Also significantly quieter than my IR thundergun. Once you feed this gun plenty of air it works great. My only real disappointment was that the replacement 2146 is rated at 2000 ft lbs. But since I caught this gun on sale, I have absolutely no complaints.

We are tough on tools and this tool survives! Great value!
