This tool cuts like killing snakes. To date, I have only used it on metal siding, so I don't have a feel for how it does with thicker material. It took a minute to get a feel for cutting curves, but it pretty much did things on its own. While the tool is great (and simple to operate), the manufacturer could have provided a little more meat in the owner's manual.
Bought this Item to Cut the Rod Holders out of My Aluminum Boat.. Works great in small places the depth gauge is great to keep it from over cutting Had do some cuts that I could net watch as I cut, Due to box size.. Great Product Great Price… Seems to Be durable, Time will tell that one Instructions on Line
This tool was for cutting brass railing tubing and performed very well after getting used to the variable speed. It was, however, difficult to get the cut started on the polished surface. A simple starting groove with a hack saw solved that problem. It's light weight makes it easy to manipulate.
I used this saw to cut holes for vents in metal roofing for a house and it worked great for that...no complaints at all about the performance of the saw. I would echo the other critics who point out that the blade changing procedure is overly complicated and no instructions on how to do it so a novice might have some trouble with that but the tool worked great for my roofing project.
Great product, but there are no instructions in how to load the blade. The online manual is the same as in the box. It is not intuitive. There are two allen wrenches in a bag, with no instructions on what do with them. You have to remove a phillips screw, pull the front down, use the large allen wrench to pull the collet back, Insert the blade, release the collet and tighten the set screws on each side of the collet with the small wrench.. Put the nose back up and replace the screw. Surely there is a better design.
It's a great product for the price. The blades on the other hand could last a bit longer. I would and have recommended this to my friends.
It works pretty well, but seems to get binded up when cutting sheet metal, a little more frequently than my last one.
I would recommend this air saw to anybody needing a realiable air saw. It works great and very happy with the choice i made.
I would recommend this saw. It is well built and gets the job done!!
This is a nice sized saw. Perfect for body work. Plenty of power for sheet metal.
