inkheart series is my daughter's favorite books ,I bought all four books and the movie for her birthday! she is so happy! this DVD is the story of the first book , although not as detailed as the book , it opens the imagination to future readers with a taste of what they can expect in the books! it's a great DVD n I recommend it as a family movie !

10 Year Old Nephew Enjoyed This Film
I've always enjoyed Brendan Fraser movies, so I decided to purchase this move to watch with my 10 year old nephew. It kept his interest so that was a plus. It dragged a bit from time to time (at least for me), but for a fantasy film it was pretty decent.

Brendan Fraser, Eliza Bennett, Paul Bettany, and Andy Serkis are great in this imaginative tale. Just the right amount of scary and fun.
