These look just like regular underwear but there is an absorbent panel along the middle all the way up the back. A pad or tampon must still be worn but the panel gives protection against leaks into clothes. They look stylish with the colored trim on the black panty. The material is soft and comfortable. They didn't shrink or lose their shape after washing and drying on regular cycles. My daughter was fine with wearing them and I think she liked having the extra protection. Middle school is hard enough without having to worry about leaks. I'm glad I could give her that extra piece of mind with these panties.

My 12 year old is extremely grateful for these undies. You know how hard it is finding black undies in her size? Perfect for period backup when the pad isn't cutting it, especially at night. Thumbs up on a great product.

This is the third time that I have ordered this brand of undies for my granddaughter. They are always the same quality and fit. While they are expensive, I think they are well worth the price because the material is not some flimsy girly pair of undies but perfect for a tween. Love these.

These underwear and very comfortable, they have a wide band at the top that doesn’t roll. I am 5’3” 105 lbs. and the 12/14 girls size surprisingly fit me nicely. I could see how these could offer a protection for a younger girl that may have a lighter menstrual cycle. I will be using these for days that I have a heavier flow for extra leakage protection. The cut of the underwear have a full coverage and are a nice material. The crotch has an added layer of absorption. They also wash well!

Too small for a 90lbs 10yr old, so I know for a fact they won't fit whenever she does need them in the next few years or so. The material is very spandex like feel. The lining is very thin so Idk how it could hold "menstruation" in them, especially at nighttime. My guess, you would still need to wear a pad or liner b/c blood would still flow through them.
