I used it to reset an engine light on a 2009 Chevy Silverado. The auto parts store stated I needed a new $65 fuel filter that was difficult to install. I bought the code tester and resetter to see if I could just rest the code from, perhaps, getting bad gas. Once I was able to reset the code, it has been working great!
Nice quality! I researched a lot before ordering this, its the best value you can get in a legit scanner. Screen is bright, and easy to read. The buttons are a little confusing, but it worked great to check the codes on my Chevrolet 1500... no problem with the data. No instructions included, but looked them up online and it worked great, make sure the engine isn't running but the ignition is on
Check engine light came on. Opened and tightened the gas cap, but the engine light remained on.plugged in the diagnostic tool and used the associated app which gave me the error code. turned out to be a minimal issue in the emissions system. Light went off after using the tool. saved quite a bit of money without having to go to a car diagnostic service station

Exactly what I was looking for and I enjoy the fact it store's multiple cars info to the app on my phone
i don't know what connection means in the review. I'm sure thus would be a good piece of equipment if you are a college educated automotive engineer or automobile technician. There is no user's manual, although one is available online. it is incredibly difficult to use if you are not familiar with automotive technology.
I returned this item so I could purchase the 5610 instead of the 5210. I have yet to receive a credit for this return .
