Surprisingly capable, an easy reliable unit to travel with. No longer have to have to deal with a wire to the scanner while the car is on the lift. Well worth buying
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup was very easy and connect to the phone very well compatible with my family member's phones as well and performs nicely. It is accurate and automatically updates itself and very friendly for the user to use. Looking forward to using it more.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not often that a product delivers on the promise of ease-of-use but I couldn't be happier with the performance of the Innova Car Scan wireless OBD2 Scanner. I downloaded the app to my phone, plugged in the unit, b and began getting useful information about my vehicle immediately. This is a great tool to analyze any vehicle problems as well as tracking the performance while driving.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This “Innova - CarScan Mobile - Wireless Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner” is absolutely amazing! It can definitely be a life saver in a bad situation! It is very user friendly and extremely compact! The Bluetooth function is definitely an added bonus! I highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Innova Carscan Mobile is just what I needed to help me diagnose fault codes with my vehicle! I love that this scanner works wirelessly through Bluetooth, and allows me to diagnose and check faults and codes using my phone! It's a very useful tool to figure out what's going on without having to go to the mechanic and hand over an arm and a leg for what is potentially an easy fix. I highly recommend this to all amateur mechanics and DIYers, this is one tool you'll regret not having in your arsenal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate when those check engine lights pop up and this is a really convenient way to figure out what the heck is going wrong. In some cases if can save a trip to the mechanic and the cost to check it out. Nice little product to have in your garage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great carscan as it helps us with quick car scan and address any open issues with the automobile in question. It is quite handy and easy to use. The instructions are clear and helps with setup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product replaces my basic plug-in, Bosch OBD scanner. Being Bluetooth it's much smaller and easy to carry around and enable direct interaction with my phone. It takes a few minutes to set up an account with Innova using the remote connect 2 App. I have been quite impressed with the level of detail and its ability to scan multiple modules. It will auto connect your phone to the module once plugged into the car. Then, after recognizing the car will download a profile for that vehicle, and then you can start with a specific, e.g., powertrain, module, scan, or whole module, scan. The user interface is intuitive. The only issue I had once I cleared the codes was looking for the clear the MIL light. I couldn't find it, but it became apparent that it had automatically cleared the MIL ( CEL) light. For reading live data it allows you to select which parameters you want to display and also allows you to graph them. Once scanning has been complete, it can generate a report which is been saved for you in the cloud. It also has suggestions for predicted maintenance items, but I don't think it takes into account properly the mileage on the vehicle, nevertheless, it's an aid for Walt might be coming up for service. It has access to the recall database however, when there are multiple recalls over a vehicles original introduction it does not allow you to filter results or search. Overall, I think this is an excellent product and good value for money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very disappointed with this tool. The error code were hard to find. The app kept trying to update in the process. Honestly innova direct contact tools are way better than mobile.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several attempts on a very hot day I gave up trying to connect my car scan mobile scanner to my 98 Jeep cherokee. It would actually show up that it connected and then would lose it. And one trying to check the check engine scan codes it would ask to remove the scanner and start over which I did at least three times. Another small thing in the bright Sun when I was initially setting up there's some check boxes you got to click that are very hard to distinguish against the background. Could be my eyes but if they had made the check boxes a brighter color it'll be much easier to see them.
