Wonderful chicken one of the best things I've had to eat very very flavorful. I love them enough I could eat them every day maybe 3 times a day. Wonderful Wonderful wonderfully delicious. If you haven't tried them yet you should try them if you like chicken you will absolutely love them
I bought this chicken to make with fried rice but I wanted something simple one night so I sauted some pot stickers on stove top. I took several small pieces of this chicken and sauted it with them. They called the chicken tempura and it turned out really good. I have two more servings left and there are larger pieces. I will use them with fried rice. I did not use the honey sauce because I would rather use low sodium soy sauce. This made a really good meal.
I fell in love with InnovAsian products especially this honey crispy chicken the minute I first tasted it. It is a must to buy when I go grocery shopping. I wish they would come out with more dishes or if they already do, I wish Walmart would get more of their dishes to sell. I love putting this on top of Jasmine white rice (sticky rice I like to call it). It's out of this world fantastic. It's also quick to make. I like pan frying it but I will try it next in my air fryer and then I will take pics and update this review if I am allowed.
Since we have been buying this, we have not bothered to go and spend three times as much Chinese restaurant. My husband and I are in our 70s and one box is more than enough for both of us if we make a box of rice to go with it text 20 minutes to cook in the oven. It comes with a pouch of delicious sauce and with the rice and a little pineapple, it is an absolutely delicious meal for the two of us. An inexpensive and easy to prepare dinner, we have this at least twice a month.
I love the Honey Chicken and I always prepare sticky white rice to go with it. I do want to make buyers aware though, that if you prepare this via microwave, (which is how I do it) know that the new boxes have left off the last step in the cooking. Once you've cooked the chicken for 3 minutes, (while the sauce is thawing in hot water) and you pour it into the chicken and mix it up, you NEED TO COOK IT FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2 MINUTES for it to be done. This was the last step on the older boxes and I'm not sure why they left it off the newer boxes. But your chicken dish will not be fully heated and the sauce will be cold unless you do the last step.
I purchased the InnovAsian Crispy Honey Chicken to have something easy to cook after I got done grocery shopping. It turned out way better than I expected! The chicken cooked up nice and crispy in the air fryer. It was all good meat, no gristle or mystery pieces. The sauce was delicious. This is a great option if you need dinner done in 15 minutes. I served this with the InnovAsian chicken fried rice and it was plenty for 1 adult and 2 teens.
This is hands down the best frozen dish I have ever had. I cooked mine in the air fryer and it literally tasted like take out from the local Chinese restaurant. The sauce is amazing as well. I will definitely be having this at least once a week at my house. I put mine over some Uncle Ben's fried rice. OMG .THE BEST! Im not exaggeration either. just try it. I'm gonna save so much money having my "'take out" at home.
I love the flavor of this sauce and there is definitely enough of it in there for even the sauciest of sauce lovers!! I usually only use half of it on the chicken and save the other half for whatever I decide to use it on, like a glaze on pineapple and pork chops or chicken breasts on the grill.. DELISH!! Preperation is super simple because I just air fry the chicken pieces and run hot water over the sauce packet till it's warm-ish.. The heat from the chicken gets it hot enough once it's started to warm under the water. I believe it says to microwave it, but I don't have one, so I do it the "old fashioned" way! (or you could use a sauce pan on the stove). Highly recommend this as a base for tons of yummy meal ideas!!
This is actually really good but you only get about 8.5 oz of chicken and a lot of it is just crumbs. The rest is sauce, so you dont get much for the price. The sauce is delicious tho and the edible pieces of chicken are probably the best frozen nuggets I've ever eaten. A very tasty meal and it feeds me twice (with lots of leftover sauce!). Its the quality of Asian takeout and about the same price.
The sauce was missing from the package. Luckily, I had the ingredients to make the sauce from scratch, so it wasn't a total waste. I have purchased this item many times and this was the first time I had this problem. This is usually my go to for an easy dinner. The chicken and the sauce are really good over rice.
