Generous on Vegetables however, to me, the past few purchases have been "stingy" on the Lo-Mein noodles! Real Veggies too! Tasty! Microwavable! Kids and Teens love it! In MY Opinion, one box is sufficient for a 1-person meal if you toss in left-over beef, pork, or chicken.
when I first tried it there wasn't enough veggies, but now they have put more and I think it is very good. thank you.
I prepared the Lo Mein using the pan method, and the result was quite satisfactory. I added three tiger shrimp and mixed them in, which was delicious. My only suggestion for improvement would be a reduction in the amount of carrots, as that is a matter of personal preference.
InnovAsian noodles have just right amount of vegetables to noodle ratio. Very good also easy to use. Chose to bake mine with Panda Express Walnut Honey sauce plus walnuts on top while baking. Added Boiled shrimp after baked. Turned out pretty good. Good for lots of choices.
If you want Asian low mein in 5min and using a microwave, then this is it. Good light sauce “not too strong” and good portion vegetables. If you take time to pan fry this it’s better, but microwave is quicker. Large portion just like they give you at fast food restaurants. Add your own grilled chicken or edamame and boost it!
I wanted a side dish to go with beef bulgogi and thought I'd try this dish. I thought the veggies were nice and crunchy, the noodles had a good "bite" and the sauce was fine. The sauce from the Bulgogi upped the taste level and I enjoyed the meal. I would recommend the InnovAsian Vegetable Lo Mein.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t love the sauce the noodles are mixed in but otherwise the texture and consistency is of any lo mein dish. It’s easy to prep, just peel back a corner of the plastic and microwave for 4 mins. It’s a convenient way to have lo mein when you desire. It’s pretty inexpensive as well and is compact to store in the freezer.
ok here's a very honest review. I have ate several items by this company and it was all very good, and worth the price. I tried this lo mein, and while the taste was ok, and it had more veggies in top than I was expecting the sauce was very, very bland. Im do happy I had some leftover soy sauce I put on it. I think I paid about $5 for this and it's not worth that in my opinion, if it was like $3 then I'd be willing to buy it again just to add the entire thing to a stir fry, but as a stand alone meal, you can get something comparable for a lot less.
Get this if you want to know what disgusting is. And I'm not excessively picky and would have accepted ok. It had a weird and unappetizing smell that was a combo of bad grease and brown sugar, proving that there are things that brown sugar can't improve. It was easy to prepare but inedible. No flavor profile either. Mostly cheap noodles with a smattering of vegetables and a disgusting sauce. I did follow the microwave instructions and maybe the stovetop method would have helped but I doubt it.
This stuff was NOT GOOD. I bought it as a side to go with homemade egg rolls. I took my first bite and didn’t like it. Took a second bite just to be sure and promptly threw the rest in the garbage. I don’t like wasting food, but I couldn’t eat this. It was gross. Stick to the frozen fried rice next time and leave the lo mein to the restaurant.
