The replacement drain piece looks just like the previous which makes it easy to not have to replace the drain piece but just rehang the power unit on the old one . You can buy a chrome replacement that looks really nice when you do replace the drain piece.

This one replaced an identical older one, many years old. I worked perfectly for a long time, then needed replacement. I hope this new one lasts as long as the first. Seller, Webb was great, too, amicably and quickly answered my questions. I recommend this item and this Seller.

Swap an old unit that has some leaks the plumber change it in 15 min has to adapt the plug from the old unit but all good very efficient and powerful works perfect.

I give the quality 4 stars because I just have it installed and not sure how good it is although it looks good. The price is better than Home Depot where I used to buy such products, very happy to check with Walmart too, very convenient and no need to worry about not being home when it is delivered.

Perfect replacement for my previous Badger 5. The cord attached was same as original. Installation was easy. New design is shorter overall but all hookups are in the same spot as the bottom of the unit is where they shortened the new version. It also comes with a 3 year warranty not 2 like the prior version. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast. Price was the best out there.

Watched several YouTube videos and had no problem replacing leaky Model 5 disposer with this new one. I used a car jack to lift the new disposer into position. It is not real heavy but was awkward for me to lift with one hand and position with other. Very easy to connect the plumbing. This may be my first plumbing job I have done that didn't leak.

My old Garbage Disposal stopped working after 25 years. Initially I wanted to call a plumber to replace it, but I decided to do it myself. My old Garbage Disposal was an InSinkErator BADGER 5 and I taught after 25 years it is not available any more, but I found out that Walmart carries the exact model for less than $100.00. The connections to my old sink, my old dishwasher, and my old plumbing were exactly the same, so it was easy to install it without modifying the insisting plumbing configuration. It camewith everything except the power cord and I used the old power cord from my old garbage disposal. The installation instructions were clear and helped me to install it quickly. I just save $300 not calling a plumber.

Delivery was rough, opening the box i found the styrofoam was cut/smashed. The item appeard to work either way when installed (repalcement for older one that was same model). The unit is comparably loud so there is no plus on it being any bit quieter than other models/brands.

Canceled order immediately that day due to existing Badger InSinkErator starting WORKING! All were satisfied with speed of cancellation including Walmart, VISA, %26 especially myself! THANKS A BUNCH WALMART!
