InSinkErator Evergrind 1/3HP Intermittent Feed Garbage Disposal

Very quick shipment. Replaced 7 yrs old garbage disposer brought from Home Depot (water leaking from the bottom). it runs much less noisy than the previous unit. Installation is quick; reused the power cord. if this lasts for aonther 7 yrs, it would be a good saving of time and money

Was an exact replacement for my old disposal. Easy to mount and works like a charm.

I got this to replace the exact same model. Everything went in very easily. I hope to take better care of this one than I did of the last one.

Replacing a 6 year old garbage disposal with the same unit. The only difference which I didn't realize at the time of ordering, this one doesn't come with the cord. Luckily my husband with about 45 minutes of time finally got the one from ours off to re-use on this one, just had to splice and use wire nuts. The product number is 2 and 2a but doesn't come up different unless you spell out with cord to find the one corded already. Just information for others that may not want a cordless one. Overall easy installation besides the one hiccup with the cord. Hopefully this one will last a little longer than the original.

We just found the disposal was leaking water and food waste from under the motor. Yes, its an 11-year-old unit, but we never expected it to leak water from under the motor. If it had been a pipe it would be a difference. but the water was dripping from the unit itself. It did take us some time to find the issue. The cabinets have been damaged, and smell terrible. We noticed the water standing on the wood, and when we turned on the disposal to see if the water came out of the pipe, we were surprised that it was dripping under the air holes on the actual motor. There was food waste on the electric cables and water, I am surprised there was no short from the electricity since it was getting wet. If you have an older unit, i would double check to make sure it is not having problems.
