InSinkErator Evolution 3/4 HP Intermittent Feed Garbage Disposal

I am 75 years old and have had two Insinkerator Cover Control units in the last 20 years. The current unit is 9 years old and still going strong but has suffered from our hard town water. A couple of cleanings with my new-found product from CLR keeps it happily whirring away! And it's still handling everything including chicken carcasses and runs so quietly my guests can't believe it.

Very quiet and leaves no remnants. It is also safe since it turns on only with a the magnetic stopper.

The installation was easy. The whol process of installing took less than two hours. The instructions are clear and simple to follow. The usit came with all hardware included except for the cord you connect to the switch. The unit is not the same concept as older versions(on/off switch). It has a push and turn feature to turn the disposal on. It's much safer if you have kids. The disposal grinds all kinds of scraps(soft and hard). I am very pleased with the garbage disposal.

One of the best features is i did not need to wire in a switch as it has an easy-on feature with the drain plug. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to do a new install or an upgrade.

This one impressed me because it was super easy to install and it's fairly quiet too. It took my husband all of five minutes to install whereas the last one took two people and about an hour to line everything up right. I'm really glad we got this disposal and I'd recommend it for your kitchen. I don't plan on having to replace it for many years!
