We recently had this installed by our plumber to replace an older model. When the plumber turned it on to show me it was working, I really could not hear it running. It is so quiet I could almost forget I had it on and walk away leaving it running. I like that the blades switch direction every time you turn it on (clockwise one time, then counterclockwise the next). I also love that I can remove the rubber gasket and clean it, or if something falls into the disposal I can remove the gasket for easy retrieval of the item. I wish I had splurged for a PRO model years ago!

Our last disposal, also an Insinkerator, finally gave out after twenty plus years of service. It was a half hp model. Did not do the installation this time as used a plumber. The plumber recommended this model which is a 3/4 hp. I am not aware of any problems with the installation so am assuming no issues. There have been no problems experienced to date. After our prior experience with Insinkerator I definitely wanted another one. So far it has functioned well, and we have found the new one to be extremely quiet in comparison. Everything has been great so far, and we are looking forward to a long service life. Note that our rating is a combination of previous experience with Insinkerator and the first weeks of service with the new model.

I said it was easy to install, but honestly we had our handy man install it as we are older and climbing under the sink is not for us anymore, but he seemed to have no problem at all. It works great and is quiet on top of that. Great garbage disposal!

I replaced the 1/2 HP disposal in our home that, I was told, was meant for an RV! The 3/4 HP PRO750 takes everything I throw in it. It is quiet and has so far not clogged. I replaced the KitchenAid, also made by Insinkerator, using the same sink connector. Then all that was necessary was to reconnect the wiring and the plumbing. Very simple!

I am a retired master plumber have installed hundres of ISE WASTE DISPOSALS great features include stainless steel interiors, auto reversing, and ultra quiet, I highly recomend avoiding buying these units at home stores, go to a plumbing supply these are a better quality unit made for trade professionals. Also avoid the badger units these rot and leak also because they don't have a stainless interior tend to hold odors. Last note all the units I have replaced do have a tendancy to last a llot longer than the warranty. Remember to run plenty of cold water then load the disposal while it is running and let the water run after you shut it down , this will help prevent drain clogs in the future

While this product is good, it is not what I expected. It works, however, I am used to Insinkerator products not having to work as hard as this one seems to to get the job done. It is loud and sometimes jars the sink. Having said this, I might be expecting too much because the last one I had was a 1HP and it was flawless. Even though it is loud, it is Insinkerator and I believe it is the best available.

We had this installed 2 weeks ago. While it is very quiet it does not seem to do well with simple things like banana peels or grape stems. The ring with the holes in it that encircle the cutting lugs seem to catch food and don't get rinsed down the drain. Our previous Badger 5 never had that problem.

I expected more. Shoots water etc up the drain of the other sink. Often plugs Can't handle eggshells. We question if it was properly installed, but could find nothing like a manual online to check this.. Do you have a manual? Disappointed. We wish we had never purchased this product.
