InSinkErator Power 1 HP, 1 HP Garbage Disposal, Power Series EZ Connect Continuous Feed Food Waste Disposer

We love this brand of garbage disposal. Had one for more than ten years and tried to purchase this one for a Christmas gift while it's on sale. The first purchase, I received a three quarter horse power model which is significantly cheaper. We took it back to the store and got a refund. Ordered it again and received the same exact incorrect three quarter horsepower model. Walmart only has Ai to speak to and is incapable of fixing the problem. We had to return it, again, get our refund, again ,and order one from their favorite competitor.

Plumber replaced a 1/2 hp disposal with a 1 hp disposal. Quick and easy with the quick connect cord we bought to go with it. Great stuff.. Powerful. WOULD BUY AGAIN.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not too hard of an install and it only took about an hour. The directions are straight forward and clear. The hook ups were fairly easy and straight forward. It works properly making kitchen clean up a lot faster! It has helped me cut down on trash/waste. It's not very loud but isn't exactly quiet either. I haven't had any trouble with anything I tried to put down the disposal. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a disposal that they could put in without a lot of appliance knowledge.

Make sure to check ALL the parts / components needed to complete the installation. The website is not clear as to everything that is needed to make this work. Also, it is loud; not as quiet as the specifications state. We had a .5 hp and this one is a 1 hp. It sounds louder than our old one. Very disappointed as now we've had to order multiple pieces and delay in construction project. Not happy!
