Easily replaced my old kitchaid . Old fittings were compatible. Installation was a breeze.

Fairly quiet. Crushes everything so far. Not too hard to install.
so far so good. Didn't take long to ship to my house. not too difficult to install. It has been in use for about 2 weeks with no problems.
Replaced an old 1/2 HP Badger that wore out (4+ years old, came with home.) Installation was simple. I really liked the EZ Connect adapter. I kept the already installed Sink Flange and Mounting Rack. Only took a bit over an hour including leak troubleshooting. Compared to the old one it is quieter and faster. Recommend it as a solid replacement.
Had installed by Angi through Walmart. That part was a real hassle and delayed. We like the disposal fine. It's fairly quiet. Hope it lasts. My last Insinkerator lasted a long time, but looked much beefier.
Overall seems to be a good product, but it did not come with Insinkerator's proprietary power cord, and we did not know we needed it until several steps in, and now we need to purchase it separately. If not their EZ connect cord, we would need to get a Romex cable, which are really expensive right now. So overall okay, just wish it was more obvious that we needed that part before being able to fully install.
I'm a professional. I've installed hundreds of garbage disposals. ISE has always been my go to brand for quality and value. Today is the first time I've come across the "Easy Cord". A solution in search of a problem if I've ever seen one. I guess every so often engineer types figure they need to reinvent the wheel. Or maybe Emerson wants to sell overpriced over engineered .one of a kind power cords . My suggestion, leave well enough alone.
brand is great but loud.
I purchased this product in April of 2025, installed by a plumber in May/June. I have continuous issues with the motor humming and hesitating starting up and very often it will just trip it's internal overload. The unit is never jammed and the allen key will spin it freely. There is either a design issue with the Insinkerator wall outlet adapter wiring, or the motor is failing.
