Insinkerator switch was needed promptly to replace an older Insinkerator switch that came to rest after 10 years. I needed the replacement promptly and had it and installed in 2 days . Thanks Walmart for the product and fast receipt.

Clean and Easy to Use
I was looking to install a hot water filtration system but only had an outlet for the disposer. This handy little device prevented me from calling an electrician. Easy upgrade!

Elegant accessory for the kitchen
I have two sink top switches in my kitchen, one at the sink and one on an island sink. They are easy to operate and provide an elegant option instead of a standard wall switch to turn the disposer on and off.

Not recommended for the Hearing Impaired
This device works well except the hearing impaired can't tell when it's on or off. They tend to accidentally leave it running since there isn't an indicator light and the unit runs so quietly. Which for normal hearing is great. Would like to be able to figure out a way for them to know when on.

broken air switch
I installed a model 76696A switch with an inSinkerator disposal when I remodeled my kitchen 1 1/2 years ago. Normal use. I pushed the air switch button to turn the disposal on, but repeated pushes will not turn the disposal off. No troubleshooting information that I could find on this web site. I had an airswich work in a previous home for over 5 years!

Stopped working after 6 months
Button worked well for 6 months. Now it won't turn on the disposal. When I push on the button, it makes a squishy sound, like there may be water inside.
