This is a quality pocket-sized unit. It's just the right size and weight with a nice easy to read screen.
It has one of those confusing up, down, left, right and center push controls, but adds individual intensity and - buttons for each side. It's actually a smart addition but takes a lot of getting used to if you've had one of these less expensive TENS units with the circle shaped controls.
To me, the exercise claims on any of these units is a gimmick, but it does have enough settings to relieve pain. If it doesn't relieve the pain, it at least takes your mind off it.
It's definitely not a high adjustability medical device, but of the pocket sized units, I recommend it over the others I've used.
As you can see, it takes the pads with the wire attached. My only concern is that the female end that connects to the unit is a little larger than the standard size I am used to. Using a generic replacement from my past devices is not possible (I could be wrong and this is the standard size used currently).
The charger port is USB C, which is so much better than the micro jacks, and the cable is included. Like most pocket-size units, it cannot be used while charging.
Another thing that I like that you might not is that the unit does not stop sending pulses if a pad comes off your body. So, grabbing the pad to put it back in place will complete the circuit and zap your fingers.
All in all, I don't really have anything bad to say about it. It's a great implementation of this type of unit.
