Did just what it claimed
My pool water had a musty smell. Adding the Pool refresh got rid of the odor and left a pleasant smell. I also think my skin didn't feel as dry after swimming

total rip-off
this is the single most expensive additive on a per ounce basis/time it last, I have ever purchased in my entire life for the pool ... the very light fragrance was very pleasant and lasted a whole 6 hrs ... I ordered 2 bottles so 40 oz of which I used 10 oz in a 30000 gallon pool as per instructions making it the most expensive additive I have ever bought in my entire life for the pool - it's a rip-off and should not be sold by Walmart
