Works well great price
I bought this as a frame to hold up while I paint and it works well for that. There is no assembly you just line up the segments and the rope inside straightens out the segments. It is metal construction

this makes a great gift idea if you have someone that likes to paint or draw its sturdy and easy to set up. we love our easel it's portable and the easy set up I can take it everywhere recommend 100%

It will work, it is however not sturdy %26 not well thought through as far as holding the canvas. Very limited as to its uses.
