Instant Pot 112-0022-01 Viva 6 Quart 9-in-1 Multi-Use Pressure Cooker with Easy Seal Lid and Sous Vide Program - Silver

I have several Instant Pots but I wanted one with the Sous Vide button. It actually works great but does take longer to come to temperature than the Sous Vide sticks and there isn't a lot of room but for small meats it takes up less space on your counter. I don't think you can have too many Instant Pots.

Ordered Monday, it arrived Wednesday! All in perfect condition, brand new and beautiful!. Made risotto the day I received it, after first doing the Water Test. Perfect! It will be fun learning all it can do. So far, so good. While waiting for it to arrive, I read online manual and recipes, so I would have a good idea of what I could do once it arrived. That helped a lot. Note: It is in the original box, so be careful if youre sending it as a surprise gift

A very convenient, simple, and effective kitchen gadget that every family can use. One vessel cooking keeps the number of vessels used in cooking and cleaning to the minimum. Unlike generic pressure cookers that make hissing noise, releasing steam with a scary surprise, and sometimes blown seal this one is whisper quiet and gives gentle soft alarms when different pases of cooking options are invoked. The cooked food is locked with FLAVORS, and accomplished in a shorter time. Very Energy efficient unlike generic stove where a lot of heat is lost to the surroundings heating up the kitchen. The Best of All set the unit to the dfesired cooking program and move away from the kitchen to take care of other things while the Instant Pot takes care of itself. A must buy for every household in the kitchen.

I like the stainless steel pot, the quality of the plastic rim (the air-tight accessory), the weight(on top of the covee) at the valve, the anti- clogging cap ( attached to the inner side if the cover). Before I bought this Instant Pot, I used another similar product, but the quality and designs are so different! Even the power cord of Instant Pot is much better.

Still in the learning process with this pressure cooker. Had some ground beef burn on the bottom of the insert. Does not come to pressure as fast as my older pressure cooker, but there are more safety features. My second attempt was more successful. Makes great mashed potato.

While it seems to be a great product, as I ran the test, and all was fine. I expect to enjoy the convenience of doing everything in much less time and all in one pot. The one drawback is the Canadian manufacturer only gives safety instructions, not instructions on operating it, so be prepared to buy a cookbook on how to use it, and to learn how to convert favorite recipes. Even pressure cooker recipes need the timing revamped for this unit. I like that you can do so many functions with this pot, and I never really used my crockpot much because I never planned ahead for the long cooking cycle that needed to be started early.

Seems like an appliance that could replace several others. It might take the place of pressure cooker, slow cooker and steamer. I have had it only a short time, and am still learning so I can't really give 5 stars yet, but rice, potatoes, and boiled eggs have come out fine. It steams veggies in a flash.

Excited to try this and borrowed cookbooks from the library. The cookbook says to set "manual" then the time. Manual is not an option on this pot so I wasn't sure what to do. It's cumbersome in my little kitchen and a little intimidating. Hopefully I'll find more value in it.

I bought this to replace an older version that didn't have as many features. After using a few times the display went dark and the unit will not come on. I've done the troubleshooting to confirm the plug is firmly connected at both the unit and the outlet, and the outlets work. I'm currently waiting for Instant Pot customer service to provide a fix, and will update my rating when I have a satisfactory solution.
