I can't believe how much time this is saving me! It's super quick to do meal prep and I love being able to sauté in the same pan before I do a casserole.
We love our Instant Pot and have been using it a few times a week for cooking whole chicken, broth, pork roasts, and ribs. Now with the Duo Crisp I can easily put a crispy finish on the chicken and ribs. I've also enjoy using Sous Vide feature for lamb chops.
Really pleased with my Instant Pot. It has replaced an aging electric rice cooker, and is an ideal size for batch cooking. I haven't used all of its functions yet, but it's simple to operate (you can literally set it and forget it) and super easy to clean. So far I've made Lemon Chicken (using an Instant Pot recipe, off the app - very easy); cooked a luscious gammon joint in half the time it would take on the stove top; perfected the timings for perfect Basmati rice every time, and made a litre of natural yoghurt. Very pleased that a spare silicon seal was included too. It's quite early days, but I think my Instant Pot will quickly become indispensable. Should have bought one ages ago!
My husband purchased the Instant Pot for me for Christmas. However, it was missing the extra sealing ring. I contacted the company and had the missing ring within a week. Great customer service and I was very impressed with them. Have made several things already and I love it.
Absolutely fantastic air fryer! Best wings I have had hands down! Anything from homemade mozzarella sticks and potato skins to perfectly cooked blackened salmon. I have had an Instantpot pressure cooker for years so when deciding on an air fryer it was an easy choice. Thanks for staying awesome!
Absolutely love the pressure cooking function - it's done a fab job steaming veg (lovely leeks, especially), cooking a luscious curry with very tender beef shin, and done some fab ham from a big gammon joint. The Air Fryer works well for small quantities - it's produced my best attempt at pork crackling, and some good char siu. I'm looking forward to trying more things with it.
Happy with my IP but the annoying bit is that the steam collector goes near the handle on the left and not always in the condenser. Also the yoghurt bit on the pro max is a faff compared the the simpler IPs
My one critisism... When heating up.. it shows the word "on" no time its taken heating.. No temperature showing current state Other than that... This thing is real good
I'm all about kitchen gadgets, and this one's earned its spot on my counter. I've used it for everything – soups, stews, crispy snacks, you name it. The presets are like having a cooking coach right there. My only hesitation was the cost, but considering it's both air fryer and pressure cooker in one, it's not too bad.
The only two negatives about this is the price being too expensive for what it is and the app does not function well. If you connect to it which is easy and set up your pressure cook settings it - it does not update itself to the different stages of cooking. So it will remain on preheating and not progress to cooking or venting. You are not able to change venting from natural to any of the other two settings as it thinks the cooker is still preheating. Other than that I have only used the pressure cooking function which is quiet, had have some great results from cooking. Don't let the app put you off as you can change all the settings on the screen.
