Instant Pot Duo™ 6 Quart Multi-Cooker, Red Stainless Steel

I haven't used it very much yet as I have bought it to use in our motor home. I was pleased when I took it out of the package as it was very light and much smaller than my other pot, which is what I hoped for. I have just tried using the sauté, slow cook and pressure cook in my kitchen to cook recipes that I often cook. I was very pleased with the results and think it should work really well in my motor home.

I was so excited to try out the new classic mini and it was well worth the hype. It's wider than the old duo so has a bigger capacity and looks a bit more like a slow cooker, which fits into my kitchen so nicely. They improved the steam release to a switch and stopped the inner pot spinning as you stir, so definitely an improvement on the duo. Can't wait to try more meals in it!

Since I got my Instant Pot Duo Plus 8QT, cooking has become so much easier and faster 💕 🔸 I can make rice, meat, stews, or even yogurt in the same pot. 🔸 The screen is super clear and easy to use. 🔸 Cleaning is quick (it goes straight in the dishwasher!). 🔸 And the best part: it saves so much time! Perfect for busy days or when I get home tired. Honestly, this appliance has become my best kitchen helper. If you're looking for something practical, safe, and efficient, I highly recommend it. 🙌

You can make so many different things in this machine! I absolutely love the versatility of this product. I can now eliminate probably 2-3 large appliances and use this instead! I love that it pressure cooks AND slow cooks, so it works if I have a short amount of time or all day to prepare dinner for my family. I haven't made yogurt yet, but that's my next cooking adventure with my new Instant Pot!

I used Insta pot duo instead of my stainless steel conventional pressure cooker and It didn't fail to amaze me. It is very easy to use and is surprisingly very quiet. Secondly it is very easy to clean and is dish washer safe. i like that the inside part that comes in contact with the food is stainless steel so no plastic leaching into my food. At the same time the exterior is plastic and does not get hot so there are less chances of burn accidents. I cook for a family of 5 and this is the perfect size for me. Also I really like that incase if my food is burning cause I added less water the instant pot switches off and shows me a burn warning on the screen.

I've made rice and pot roast in here when I got it I didn't think it was a crockpot also I thought it was just rice but I've used it every night and I highly recommend. It is a little big and don't fit in my cabinets so I have to leave it on the counter. It has a lot of different cook settings which hopefully I'll be able to try some new dinner ideas with.

I have heard of the brand before but was always too nervous to use a pressure cooker. I was surprised at how easy and NOT intimidating it was to use! I have made several meals for my family of 4 in this. The first thing I made was shredded beef for sandwiches. Since it was the first time using it, I didn't put enough liquid in so I got the "burn" error. Some sides of the beef were just a little crunchy. O shredded it all up and put it back in with homemade BBQ sauce. It was so good! I have been collecting new pressure cooker recipes to test out and haven't been disappointed so far. This is a great product for anyone like me -- a working mom with small children. Definitely a time saver!

My family really likes pot roast. We have cooked it every way possible. While the pressure cooker can cook it fast. It does leave all the liquid. You can do the slow cook method with this which is better flavor wise. You can also make rice with this; but I prefer using a rice cooker. The multi cooker has many useful functions to make dinner time easy. Make sure for safety you follow the directions of use.

So, I'm still undecided on if I love this or not. This is the first time I've ever used an instant pot, so it was a little overwhelming for me. I did a little trial and error on some things trying to figure out how to use it correctly and efficiently. One, this thing is HUGE. I am still shocked at how big and bulky it is. I didn't think it was going to be as big as it was. Great for my very large family, but wow! 😂 I loved that I could use frozen meat to speed up the process of cooking. With that being said, everything I read about using frozen meat, said it should only take 15-20 minutes more on cooking. Mine did not. I had to cook it probably an extra 50 minutes. Thank god I didn't have to be anywhere at a certain time, or I would have been running through a drive through. When I used thawed meat another time, it was about the accurate time it should have been to cook. I do feel like there are a few more steps to using an instant pot vs a crockpot with some of the meals that I made. I didn't like that aspect, as I was hoping it would have sped up my prep and cooking time, but I don't feel as it did. I'm going to keep giving this a chance, as there are alot of meals that I found that seem to be better suited with the instant pot. I also really like that instant pot has there own app for the various meals you can make with it. That is super helpful!

The product arrive in great condition and in a timely manner. The quality of the product is high, while the interface is easy to use. I am able to make soup much more easily than before. However my pressure valve keep leaking air during pressure cook and keep warm, and I couldnt easy find out how to solve this problem. The demonstration video online/ on youtube could be a bit more detailed, like include more cooking process/actual usage and how the pot is suppose to behave while in operation.
