Easy to cook
Best Pot in Pot insert for healthy pressure cooking. Made Rice, Lentils and steamed veggies in one shot. Compared to the other Pot in Pot insert I have, this one is the perfect size for a family of 4, and the steamer plate was added bonus. I always had trouble getting the broccoli just right for my pasta, this steamer plate is just the perfect set up. I also like how the steamer plate sits well on both the pans individually.
These Ecozoi Premium food steamer pots are good to steam or cook food in my rice cooker, not just in the instant pot! They are also convenient to store food in refrigerator. The Stainless steel quality is very good, even better than my rice cooker inner pot! I am very happy with this set. It's a good investment in my opinion. By the way, I hav been cooking for about 48 years!
High-quality containers and fits my 6qt instant pot perfectly. The size is just right...the bottom one is bigger than the top container and it works well for us. Also, it washes well too. I can now make lentils and rice in one shot. Made oatmeal in 6 minutes using just the bottom container and it turned out delicious. Get this...you won't regret it.
There are so many of these stackable steamer pot sets available. I purchased this one since it had two different size pots and two lids- a "regular" lid and one for steaming. Most importantly, it got very good reviews and was less expensive than many of the other brands available. Highly recommend.
I cook for a living so when I get home I don’t particularly want to spend all my time in the kitchen but also want to eat something delicious and nutritious! So this insert works perfect because a) you don’t have to worry so much about the main instant pot getting dirty.B) you could make say brown rice and some delicious madras lentils with coconut milk and ginger and fresh tumericC) and this I’m most excited about you can put some veggies in the bottom and some noodles or dumplings on top (figuring out playing with time for cooking) and voila! You got yourself a delicious meal! Also put some leaves in there for good measure: Bay leaves, curry leaves, been leaves (if you want bitter).Next step trying to figure out how to put plantain leaves and steam with it!
These pots fit great in my instant pot. I love the holder that locks the two sections together. It can also be used to lift a pot in and out. They seem very sturdy and high-quality made. I've only used them a few times so far so I do not know how long they will hold up but they appear to be fine so far. I am happy that I purchased these.
I really like these they are the perfect size for my 6 qt instapot. The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is because they send out a product that says its stainless but the screw that's in the lid is not. You will be eating the metal coating off first and not even notice it. Then comes the rust, it only took a few uses before I even noticed it so I ended up taking the screw out and getting a food grade screw from my local hardware store. I had to modify it to make it fit, now I have a bag of screws that will be sitting around till I find a use for them one of these years.
One pan was ok to cook rice in my InstantPot, but the second one with an interior “lip”, so that there is an indent all around the bottom of the pot, was coated in a black, sticky substance that I had to scrape and soak for two days to tray and remove, and it's still not all out. Unfortunately I didn't see this until I had used the good pot, so I can't return, but it was disgusting, have no idea what it is, and I won't be using the second pot for food.
It barely fit on my 8 qt instant pot I returned it
