I will be honest about the purchase of these boots. i bought them and was expecting to be disappointed with them. my work is brutal on boots i work in mud, water, and filth. on grass and concrete. i expected them to disintegrate like all the other more expensive boots i bought over the last two years. they have held up surprisingly well now for two months. i know what i am using them for is not what they are made for but i went through two expensive pairs of boots and did not want to have to shell out a lot of money right away.for another. so i got these on a temporary basis. it may not make any sense or it sounds strange but this is the truth. very good boots decent not overwhelming price.
i bought these twice, for my hardworking teen son. the first pair lasted for almost 2 years of rough use..he wore them out. i asked him if he wanted a different pair(brand, maybe more professional grade or more expensive) he said nope, he liked these too much. i highly recommend from our experience with these boots. hes a size 13 and he says they mold to your feet and he hardly ever has sore feet after work because of the comfort of the boots.
The Interceptor Force is a great, general purpose tactical boot, lightweight and fairly durable for spending a lot of time on one's feet. No matter what you get, consider a custom fit orthodic insert to relieve any pressure points for your particular arch profile. The toe box is roomy for an average width, and since this model has an ankle cover, there is no chance of accidental removal by impact or snag hazard on the ground. If you wear them properly, then your foot will probably come off before the boot will if something pulls on it hard enough. The shank doesn't seem to be hazard proof, so watch where you step. If you step on a nail, the sole of the boot will NOT stop it. I have never had to put that to the test, but it's plain to see that it is simply not that kind of boot. If that's what you want, spend the extra $100 on another model. On final note, have a pair of high durability laces standing by. The factory laces are good, but a good pair of hard-coated laces from any Boot Barn will be much better. Use the factory laces until they start to show signs of wear, then upgrade them. The boots will still have plenty of life on them at that point.
Boots are very light adding memory foam insoles you don't get a more comfortable boot. I buy a pair every 3 months just cause the price is amazing, on a side note though the shoe laces sometimes hold up and others they come unraveled. I use these daily for work and cause they are so complfterble I have an extra pair of daily use for motorcycle riding and so on . Great boot excellent price I have been buying them for years. Thank you
they are durable as can be for the price. very good price. I buy these boots every 3 to 6 months. this is the only boot I buy because it's steel toe and cheap. I'm very rough on my boots. so they are good for me. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants a durable work boot with that steel toe.
I'm working more than 5 years on the mechanics shops and I'm really loving this safety boot. Every 6 months I replace my safety shoes no because is deteriorated is because I want look like new. This safety boot for me working really good every 7:00 a.m. I put and around 12:00 a.m. I take it off are really confie.
I really like these "Steel Toe Boots." I was surprised how comfortable they are after they got broke in. Now, they did leave some blisters and sores on my feet. They aren't meant to do the amount of walking I do. I'll think about buying another pair of these if I don't have to break them in.
The first pair lasted at least 2 yrs which was fantastic. The only drawback to the new version is they did away with the side zipper but put a steel toe for protection. However it's somewhat difficult for me to lace them every time so I miss the side zipper.
these boots are good for the price. they were flexible when i got them, did not require days of wear to get broken . they are good fit, just what the size of other shoes I have bought before. the only problem is the height of the over the ankle seems to be about an inch less than other boots I have worn back in the decades between the 70's and early 90's, the boots that I got issued and bought in the clothing sales on the base during my military career. but they are more comfortable than the boots that bought at the red wing store, i wore them for two weeks and they never got flexible enough to put on without a fight and cost twice as much as these. if not for the slight discomfort above the ankles i would give a 5 stars. they are worth the price
Wasn't the item they had dirty used work boots instead of the original new boots I had to return them to the nearest Walmart to get something close to them, need to have the selector and delivery driver check the items before delivery even the bottom of the items
