This boot just feels good, and it looks good, AND, it is literally! It's an easy on and off with the zipper on the inside. The construction is quality and it feels durable while looking great! I'm glad I found it- I have been looking (casually) for something like this boot for some time, not knowing that I was looking for a “tactical” class of boots. I am glad to have found this!
I'm a farmer and run it solo. I live on a volcanic mountain and due to elevation and active erupting volcano it rains constantly. This is my second pair. they are built to last, relatively waterproof %26 mud proof. I spend all day and often nights out in rain %26 mud and this is by far a great buy. My hunting dogs and I just came back from running through the jungle chasing invasive hogs on terrible terrain and not one problem. The only problem I've encountered with both pair is the shoe laces! They don't stay tied.
Size down. I'm a 7.5 in women's and I had to exchange these for a smaller size. These also are wide in the toe are. Size down other wise they will be very big! Bought these for working as a carrier with USPS.
I recently bought this boot for my daughter so I don't have a lot of opinion of the boot at this time but we bought it largely based on the price and it seems like a nice boot but it's too early to tell because last year my daughter bought a $200 boot that did not last, it only lasted about a year so we're going to see if this boot will hold up, we will keep our fingers crossed!
For years I was buying boots like these from Sears until they close the store in my area. they fit me really nice without it slipping in the heal. but the quality is not as good as Sears Die Hard Boots were. but satisfied with them will see how long the last.
Not the most comfortable boots. There is a hard seam where the boot creases as I walk that digs into the top of my foot. The soles feel like concrete as well. Will be returning.
These are supposed to be tactical boots. I literally wore them for a 15 hour shift and within the first few hours the top side parts of the shoe kept digging into my flesh. Don't know how I got through the rest of the day with them on, but my lower left leg is swollen. As a former officer, I have worn tactical boots before and never experienced excruciating pain as I did with these. Don't know if these need to broken into or not, but the pain definitely ain't worth it for the price.
It looks like a nice boot, but it's kinda big. i think these run in men sizes. so women should size down. i wear a 7 .5 but should of got the boot in a 7 because they are big.they are advertised as womens. Also they forgot to take off securtiy tag off. i order online.
Unfortunately, most of the information on size was incorrect. The box said size 8.5. The tags on the boot said size 8.5. The tag on the tongue said size 8.5. At the same time, the boot too small -- it was definitely not a size 8.5. Then I pulled out the insole. Ah ha! The insole said size 7.5. Anyone wanting to get this boot should see if they can try it on in person. That's the only way you can tell if the boot is going to fit, given that the labels are not necessarily accurate.
I bought these boots and they are horrible. After wearing them for just a few hours they rubbed the sides of my ankle/leg raw. I believe if I had kept wearing them I would actually had blisters! And I was wearing long socks. They weren't very comfortable at all!
