InterDesign iDry Kitchen Mat Solid, Large, Beige

The first thing I noticed about this dish mat is how thick it is, very absorbent and very soft. We often lay dishes on it that are still dripping wet. It leaves a large wet spot that dries quickly and never soaks through to the bottom. We have been using a towel on the counter and so this is a welcome addition. You could lay your dishes directly on there or you could set a dish draining basket on there; either way it will not leave you disappointed. The color is a dark brown and even though it doesn't match the colors in my kitchen, it just somehow blends in. I highly recommend.

I love these! I wish I had bought these sooner because they really add a sleek look to my kitchen counter. The InterDesign Classico Stainless Steel Compact Dish Rack, Satin and Clear, fits very nicely on one of these. They are small enough for the counter but big enough to put multiple cups on.

This iDesign iDry Kitchen Mat (X-Large, Brown) is fantastic. It has a lot of great features (see photo). The description as X-Large is no joke! I took a photo to show side-by-side comparison with my usual dish drying mat (smaller, cotton, prone to staining) - - which I am happy to replace with this one! I highly recommend this addition to your kitchen.

I am greatly impressed with my new dry mat's performance: it is made of excellent quality materials, impressive absorption and it has a very noce size. I also love that the bottom material keeps it in place all the time. I absolutely recommend it to everyone!

This dish mat is the perfect size for my household which is good since the space counter I use to dry dishes, is not that big. It also fits well under my dish rack which is a normal size dish rack. It is just thick enough that it can absorb water while keeping dishes sitting up without falling as well as not making the dish rack lopsided. I usually keep it under the dish drying rack but will also use it alone while the rack is put up. This matt absorbs water pretty well and it is way better than just using a regular towel when I am trying to keep my counter dry. It does keep the counter dry even when I load it with some wet dishes that sometimes have a lot of water dripping off. After I am done using the mat, I notice it does not stay wet long at all, and dries fairly quickly which is a plus since with towels, a smell can occur but I have not noticed this smelling at all. And when it is time to wash, it's machine washable and cleans up well. It also folds up well when I don't need it all. Definitely worth it for my household.

This is a great dish mat, especially compared to my others, it coordinates with my kitchen colors, is very absorbant and does seem to dry quickly. I included an image of the surface when wet as well as the underside. I prefer these cloth dishmats because I don't want things on my kitchen counter when not in use and this is easy to fold up when I don't need. The mesh layer helps air circulation for dishes and glasses to dry more quickly when upside down. My old dishmat would take forever for glasses and cups to dry. It is machine washable, easy to fold up and store when you're not using. This disat is also an excellent size, when you have to wash pans and pots. I also like that it stays in play on my counter without slipping.

The size of this item is perfect. However, it is thinner than I expected. This does not seem to affect it's effectiveness though.

The The iDesign iDry Mat is super simple to setup; simply unbox and lay under your drying rack or next to your sink. I love the fact that this drying mat is quite lightweight, although I did find the material to feel and appear super thin. Despite this, the iDry Mat did do a nice job performance-wise, as it absorbed residual water from dishes underneath my drying rack. This mat is large, which is likely a pro for most people. However, having minimal counterspace, I found the mat just hardly fit beside my sink. Because I love wrinkle-free products, I do wish this product was thicker to prevent wrinkling it movement if touched. Overall, this product works as advertised.

It's fine for the job as expected. Not great but not bad. For me I think it's a bit on the thin side, but, for glasses or other delicate things to dry this might be an option. For us we usually don't let the delicate items linger so its not a consideration. I do like that it seems firm and allows items that are drying stay put.

You could accomplish the same thing with a doubled towel. I was disappointed that it took so long to dry. Not as advertised...and too expensive.
