I love this little project. Everything is included in the box but I'll probably use my own crochet hook. This is a perfect travel, beach project. I just added a small project bag to carry on to a plane or tuck into a beach bag. ??????

Instructions and materials were very helpful to make the little bear. It took some time to sew together but it was worth it. I would do it again. I would consider myself an intermediate level at crocheting.

This cute little bear will be both fun and a little challenging to make, but I can't wait to see the results and this little guy a loving home crafted by loving hands. The materials is of great quality and what I expect from a Michaels yarn kit, nice price too.

The project is a lot of fun with very clear instructions. However, the kit had about twice as much of the needed amount blue yarn for the little scarf and not enough of the main brown color. Now, I have to try and buy a whole matching skein only to use a few yards. This is very disappointing. The arms will probably not match the rest of the animal. To make things worse, the closest store is about an hour away. This would have been easier if the color name and/or sku were included in the list of contents. ):

The pattern is good, but the yarn from the kit is horrible. The yarn from a lot of kits is not good. Something you should know before you buy one.

Make sure you have your own metal crochet hook - the plastic one it came with broke within minutes of starting…. I found the instructions a little confusing, not much room for error with the yarn amount provided, but it's very cute. You may want to consider weighing the bottom down in addition to stuffing it with the provided material if you want it to stand up.

Cute item but instructions unclear at important points and ran out of one color yarn before completing its stated usage. Twist in yarn very loose and prone to splitting which caused frequent frustration. Also if given to young children plastic parts should be replaced with embroidery.

Not enough yarn in these kits to complete the project. I emailed the creator and received a reply that she would send me additional yarn, she did not, and now does not acknowledge my emails. She told me this yarn was NOT available in stores as it was made soley for these kits. Thanks for nothing.

Very disappointed. Dark brown yarn: not enough in kit to complete his hands. It was also very cheap yarn and kept unraveling. I used the Tan yarn all the way down to his hands since I ran out of the Dark Brown and had to purchase a skein of Tan yarn (that I couldn't match exactly, unfortunately) just to finish the last 2 rows of one arm. Also, if you aren't experienced, the directions are a bit limited, where you have to figure out what they meant. Very sad. Won't buy from them again. I didn't even bother to make the pocket since I ran out of the original Tan. I do not recommend unless you plan on purchasing extra yarn.
