International Caravan Windsor Storage Trunk Bench in Walnut Stain

I failed to look at the dimensions before buying. When it arrived we were disappointed in the length. It was a beautiful piece of furniture though. I just wish it came in a longer length, such as 50" to 55". It would have fit our needs perfectly.

After great deliberation, the decision to purchase the Windsor hope chest was the best one. It did not hold quite as much as I planned. But, it goes beautifully with the furniture, is very well constructed and looks handsome at the foot of the bed.

Really lovely little chest and the right size for the money. This is NOT a full sized hope chest...but, holds a good amount. I love it, would NOT hesitate to recommend hayneedle.com and would NOT hesitate to recommend this chest to anyone needing a fashionable storage bench. Very nice piece! Glad I bought it!

Saw this item online and wow! it matches my furniture which is over 45 years old. Same design and color perfect. I needed a storage bench and found the right one! A beautiful piece of furniture!!!

I really like my new hope chest. It is a little smaller than I expected and the wood was a little darker than I thought it would but. But it looks great at the foot of our bed.

I couldn't wait for my new hope chest to arrive! Needless to say, I was very disappointed when I gently slid it out of the box and heard a ""noise""... that noise belonged to a board/slat that was loose after being splintered off its proper position on both sides of the chest. Hayneedle was very good about issuing an RMA, and I promptly ordered a replacement, opened today, only to discover that virtually the SAME defect was apparent (even the same noise) as I gently slid out the new replacement item! (By the way, the box and packaging were in excellent condition!) This time the wood was not shattered; however, it will need to be reglued and retapped into place. In addition, there is a 'ding' mark on one of the feet. It looks like it may have been dropped during/right after the manufacturing process and perhaps glued together (?) I know that accidents happen... but the same defect TWICE in a row?? Although this design is lovely to view online, I've come to the conclusion that the manufacturing quality leaves much to be desired beyond a first glance!

beautiful, but too small for price

I tried to cancel order before it was shipped but order came anyhow. It is ok but has a strange odor almost like a stain order. Will keep as would be more problem to return than keeping.Just hoping the odor will disappear. Am sorry I even ordered this. a

OVERPRICED, CHEAPLY MADE, UNDERSIZED Description said ""Hope chest"" it came in, and it was a toy chest. I apologized to my daughter as this was supposed to be her Mothers Day present. She said don't worry mom, we'll use it for the baby's toys. MOST EXPENSIVE TOY BOX EVER.
