International Concepts Solid Wood Shaker Style Accent Bench in Hickory

This bench is made well, is easy to assemble, is sturdy, and while unfinished, the wood is completely smooth with no additional sanding needed before finishing. And the price is great.

My wife picked out this bench, she wanted something sturdy to place in our entry that she could paint to match a few other accents. The bench is very sturdy and has suffered some hard use over the last 14 months. We have 3 young children and the bench is still in good condition.

Product is as advertised[...]. Very good value. My only complaint is that the bench did not absorb stain very evenly. Otherwise, it is strong, sturdy, and stable to sit on, also very simple to assemble legs to bench. Would definitely recommend company.

Real wood and heavy duty, it's beautiful and easy to put together

I searched for benches a few years ago and they were so expensive I chose to have some made. Recently needed more and spent a long time searching online. I bought 3 unfinished Shaker Style benches. They are heavy beautiful wood, well constructed and finely sanded. They are simple, basic and functional. All are consistent in quality. The price is a tremendous value. Highly recommend! They arrived a week earlier than stated! Super simple to put legs on, one washer did not fit.

We are thrilled with the superb construction of this bench...absolutely beautiful! My husband says he could not build it for the cost you offered us...we are very happy with this product! We are normally not someone who would order on line...perhaps you've made a believer in us! Quality...quality...quality! Thank you!!

I have never bought furniture over the internet. Your representatives were very patient and helpful. The bench is beautiful and sturdy. My grandson assembled the bench and matching chairs in about 30 minutes. I also appreciated the staining instructions and tips. I looked at least 50 benches and read reviews before I chose to purchase this bench. I am completely satisfied and now wish I would have purchased two of them.

Hayneedle has really become a one stop shopping site for all my home needs—-this bench, like other recent purchases, have been both of excellent quality and the best value for my buck. The craftsmanship and material of this bench is truly of high caliber.

I bought two, they came promptly, were very easy to assemble, and look great. Honestly, they look exactly like the pictures. Plus, they are heavy. I have three kids and it is deep enough where I'm not worried about them falling off the back and wide enough to accommodate them all. There was absolutely no imperfections with them. Smooth, sturdy. Very happy with my choice!

Needed something to make our dining table accommodate six when we have guests. I had just recovered the chairs and had enough fabric left, I decided to go find a bench. I still have to do another coat of stain (and fix one of the legs where I apparently just failed to notice I missed a spot) but I think it's going to be great!
