idk why I thought this would be more than one single character (probably the price that confused me) but it's fine. its serving its purpose which is to contribute to the entertainment of a 10 year old
I got the Apocalypse Abe Minifigure. And I think that this is a good minifig. Although this a little expensive for the minifig it is still a good one. it was easy to feel for his hat. This is a good torso, a good double-sided face, and a very good accessory! This minifig looks good in my display case. I really want more of these minifigs. I would really like to know a little bit more on the Wizard of Oz minifigs as the trailers dont say much about them. over all this is a good series and LEGO did a very good job on these!
THE LEGO® MOVIE 2 (TLM2) Minifigure collection set #71023. Each bag has one of the 20 new minifigures characters from TLM2. Each figure will have a accessory that is unique to each set. The base play is white this time and I think it really makes the print on the characters really come out. However I would have liked to see the Wizard of Oz figures to have yellow but that's ok I just used piece from my Lego box. The names for each of the minifigures are Emmet, Lucy, Benny, Giraffe Guy, Crayon Girl, Sherry Scratchen-Post & Scarfield, Hula Lula, Watermelon Dude, Flashback Lucy, Swamp Creature, Candy Rapper, Golfin' President Business, Apocalypseburg Abe, Rex Dangervest, Kitty Pop, Dorothy & Toto, Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Unikitty. Over all I am very pleased on the design of all the minifigures as suspired that Batman or Metal Beard was not in the selection. Unikitty was however a step backwards I feel. There is no real new print on her making her look like she is from Apocalypseburg or disco theme. I would have liked to see Lego make a unique Unikitty that would reflect TLM2 more. The attachment for the head is also the old way that does not stay together as well. But with the outstanding details, new print, new molds and unique pieces on all the other minifigures more then make up for her. From what I have read and experienced you should have no problem finding all the character minifigures out there, no rare or limited figure (like the Policeman). So I would really recommend picking some up your own collection or start a new collection. Happy Building Everyone.
This set of Minifigures is more than welcome in my collection. The figures overall are fantastic. The new parts and prints are wonderful. Each figure has a high amount of detail and more figures this series have double face prints which is nice to see as it gives you more options for play and display alike. In addition I definitely like this series far more than the original Lego movie series Ref: 71004. The few negatives (nit picks really) #1 Would have liked to have seen more info on the Wizard of Oz characters on the leaflet included in each bag as I'm unsure if they are part of The LEGO Movie 2 as in the Oz character are in the film or are they a little extra thing added in the movie series. Whichever it doesn't take away how amazing the figures are. #2 Would have liked to have seen a metal beard Minifigure based on his brief appearance as a regular Minifigure in the first LEGO Movie. #3 And finally this is my main problem you'll notice the bags in which the figures are packaged in are made of a cheaper thinner material which I can only assume is to cut costs. Now when Minifigure blind bags first came out in 2010 they only cost £1.99 GBP and are currently at £2.99 GBP. I understand inflation and what have you. But still with the bag package quality being reduced I think it's fair to say that the RRP should be reduced to £2.50 GBP. However that slight nit pick aside the whole set of figures is fantastic and I would recommend them they are great for play and for collectors. *Please note the build time I've selected is building each individual Minifigure not the whole set of 20* Thanks for reading my review I hope it was of some use to you. Happy Playing, Happy Collecting, and Happy Building
Recently purchased 20 of these in the hope that I would get one of each but sadly got a few doubles. Would be nice if it was offered as a set by Lego for those of us wanting to purchase the lot and at a better price bracket because we buy all 20 in the set. Also was disappointed to find some of the figures had been damaged, packing not damaged but figures seemed to have been crushed?? None the less I STILL LOVE LEGO!!!!
The whole set of minifigs is a mixed feeling, given that it does come with good figs and pieces that can be used for other things. My only observation of it is the unnecessary addition of Lucy's band, maybe I missed this in the movie, but it doesn't really show them, and to use three fig slots for them? I've been to plenty of shops where they sell the figs and I'm a seasoned bag-feeler for the figs, and I tend to find mostly these singers figs anywhere there is less than a third of the figs left, maybe other people also agree with me that they are not the best part of the set. That said, the rest of the figs are really well made and can be used for multiple scenes and play scenarios, as well as MOC's for adults like me, so it's a win overall. Thanks for reading. Martin
I went ahead and bought the mini-figure and it took eight days for it to deliver. Only to realize that they lost the package. I was very unhappy over it. I went to get it again and it actually delivered. I was expecting the whole collection of the figures but only got 1. You guys are robbers. You really made the price that high just for one mini figure. Next time you make something like this, make it the correct price. It should be 4$ or at least a cheaper price. I'm very disappointed of how one figure is 14$. At least put one mini figure in the photo so we can tell it's actually one figure. Do better next time. Make something with the full collection and for the same price as this one. Not 1 mini figure for 14$.😕
Having just seen the movie this weekend, I'm really disappointed in this series. 12 of these characters were on screen for a couple seconds at most and play no major role in the plot. Meanwhile, standout characters like Sillyman (sparkly Superman), wedding day Batman, Larry Poppins, and any of the vampires are just ignored.
This is entirely my fault for not reading the details. But due to the fact that the picture shows several figures, I went ahead and ordered this item, failing to realize it was for only one lego. But the part that gets me the most is these lego packs are $3.00 in store and you are charging $10.00 for them online.
