My size I ordered was not available after i had already placed the order. I was contacted right away which i liked and was given a bigger size for no extra cost. Everything worked out and my kids are enjoying it this summer.
This is a fantastic pool to have in the backyard! The perfect size to easily maintain and the pump works fantastic!
nice pool /has everything you need to set it up /
Missing a part for pump. Called Intex and waited an hour and a half on hold and no one ever came. Emailed Intex and it has been 4 days and no answer to get my parts. The pool was easy to put up.
I have used this pool for 3 summers. I take it down during the winter as its not a permanent pool. My family has enjoyed it. It probably wouldn't hold up to excessive horse play. I did upgrade the filter to a sand filter and purchased a better ladder.
We've used this pool for 8 seasons, taking it down in the winter. In that time, we've patched one small leak and replaced the pump. I've had to replace a few of the plastic pins that hold the metal frame together, but other than that, it's worked fine. You can expect some rust to appear at the edges of the metal pieces, where these edges rub through the paint (which is a powder coat, in spite of other reviewer's claim), however, this rust does not seem to spread under the coating and it's not noticeable from 10' away. The pool came with a rope around the bottom, which is supposed to go on the outside of the legs, and this started deteriorating quickly, but it's easily replaceable. The photos don't show this rope, so it's probably not even necessary. As a budget pool, I think this product knocks it out of the park. If you're the picky type, cough up some more dough and buy a premium pool, but I'd rather save the cash. We're planning on replacing it with another one next year and give this one away to some young family with kids who should be able to get at least 2 more years out of it. If the next one lasts as long as this one did, I'll be thrilled.
Easy to put together from watching a intex setup video on u tube. But came with no instuctions, no video to show installation, and no repair patches. No paper work at all. Like they just forgot to put it in the pool shipping boxes!!! But hoping this pool will last a few years!
Bought this product from a different retailer, so my review has nothing to do with Walmart and it's Corporation. I bought this pool last June (from BJ's) and got it constructed and filled for 4th of July weekend 2017. We used it all summer in Central Florida until Hurricane Irma in Sept and it weathered the storm well with no obvious damage. We shut the pool down around Thanksgiving and then cleaned and filled it for the new season back in the beginning of Feb when we were hitting the mid 80's. It was then when I noticed the small amount of oxidation bubbling up the paint around the joints of the t-junction that connects the vertical support legs to the horizontal support frame. A small amount of orange rust was also apparent where the two pieces of painted metal had rubbed against each other around the frame ring, thereby exposing the raw steel underneath. It is apparent that since the joints are held together by a plastic pin that flexes, when a movement within the pool causes the water to shift against the wall, the frame does not remain rigid against the movement and the friction of the frame pieces rubbing against each other scrapes the paint away. And of course since it is a pool, the continuous exposure to moisture immediately results in the formation of rust and oxidation. This type of product should be made from either an aluminum alloy or a treated steel, or at the very least powder-coated instead of a thin layer of paint. I contacted the manufacturer which is printed on the vinyl liner of the pool itself and discovered that even though the product is branded as Bestway, it's parent company is still Intex. It was like buying a Saturn and discovering that it was still a GM car with a different logo. The representative said they would overlook the 90 day warranty as a courtesy but I would have to ship them half of the frame parts at my own expense with no reimbursement. I wasn't about to spend $75+ mailing broken steel anywhere. So I submitted a claim to BJ's service plan that I bought with the pool and they (Asurion) have denied my claim because they don't cover rust damage.
I order this pool 2 months ago and everything that was included is broke now.
Not at all around 25 pin holes whole pool was damaged
