Like everything in life, this pool is going to reflect the work that you put into it. In my city, a permit was required, including technical drawings. Some users will require electrical work to have a proper outlet in the correct place. An equipotential bond loop was required in my city. The foundation is huge, and must be flat and compacted. I was lucky to do this work over a few weeks with mostly hand tools. Some users will have to pay for a landscaper to grade the site and provide compatible soil. The legs need to rest on wood or metal or concrete pavers that are set at-grade. Use a laser to level everything. The liner is heavy, but of good quality. I struggled, but succeeded, in setting up the pool on my completed surface myself. It took hours. I used 2 inch PVC for the send and return lines to the pump, which I buried myself. They sell adapters for that, and it was a separate day of work. I reduced the length of the accordion hose used at the ends. They sell short ones. This way, the pump could be far enough from the pool to meet code in my city, and next to an existing outlet. I spent a month or so working on the site, the permit, and the other things needed to open the pool. The GFCI power cord would not fit in a standard bubble cover. In the end, totally worth it. Besides the cost of the pool, I spent another $1000 or so getting it operational. But it is huge, swimmable, and attractive. My kids love it. I love it, and getting the chemicals right (about $300 in salt, sand, test kits, chlorine, etc.) has not been that bad. It is a real pool. Your friends will be impressed. I live in Florida, so it will be used all year, for years. I feel confident that it will last a long time if properly maintained.

this has been the best pool we have ever owned. this is alos the 3rd one we have purchased, not because anything was wrong with it but to heavy to move .

like everything there's mixed for views, but this thing is great. Everything was included. The vacuum works awesome and really have no complaints at all. i'm in Florida and was worried about the filter not keeping up but so far everything is working great.

the instructions are very confusing couldn't figure something out and then opened another box and then the instructions were in that box,it would be nice if all the instructions were in one book

Missing the auto vacuum and maintenance kit. The pool arrived late so it was late for my daughters birthday. Once the pool came and we got set up we all enjoyed it. It could use a bigger pump but so far so good. The corners are weak and we currently have one that is pulled apart. Otherwise solid frame and easy to assemble.

Purchased, came in, took out of box onto a cement slab, assembled, filled up for 2 days. Has a hole in pool, must be on the bottom, cement is wet! Very disappointed and extremely difficult to assemble

The pool never arrived for me to properly rate it. So frustrating. The problem may be the company itself or the shipper they choose to use. Buyer beware. So far, two days late with no eta of arrival.

The pool itself is very nice but DO NOT use the ladder. Set it up , climes in and while climbing back out the ladder broke while I was on top step. Fell flat on my back on the wood/pavers around pool. I am currently in ER being checked for broken ribs. Before you ask I do not exceed weight limit, I only weigh 175lbs. I will be buying a new ladder.

Beware of products sold through Walmart from other sellers! If you have a problem, it is difficult to get resolution.
